Paul Harris
i dont think he should be drafted. however, due to the weakness of this draft, he may. he is very undersized at sf. he plays more like a pf. he has no jumpshot whatsoever. but if trevor ariza became 3 pt specialist, there is hope for everybody. he probably will be drafted for his strength and energy, but if he wants to stay in the nba, that jumper needs improvement.
Paul Harris is the poster boy for high school basketball players delcaring for the draft directly from school. He would have gone in the first round had the NBA not changed the rule. Now, he's a 6 foot 4 version of Ron Artest. He's a lockdown defender with a 43 inch verticle leap. He should have been a tight end. His problem: he can't shoot 10 feet away from the basket. He has the potential to be an all-time steal if he can learn to shoot. Defenders like him don't come in drafts often. He's a junior, but he also went to a year of prep school. Give him credit for staying out of trouble at Syracuse. He was taken off the McDonald's All-American list for his poor behavior (selling drugs) in high school. He could stand to stay at Syracuse one more year, but becaue of Wesley Johnson, whom America will find out about next year, there's a chance he may come off the bench.
He'll be drafted very, very late in the second round.
Dhamp...the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.
I'm not completely sold that Harris would have been a first rounder if he was allowed to do so, but his stock has dropped precipitously over the last three years.
He's a mid to late second round pick who's drafted by a playoff team who wants a selfless defender that doubles as an excellent rebounder (11 double-digit rebound games this season). One underrated point is that Harris improved his shot selection, increasing his field goal percentage to near 50%. He's got a long way to go in that department, if he wants to get onto an NBA roster come October, and demand a strong second contract.
If Harris doesn't get selected, it may be because Jim Boeheim isn't his biggest fan, and I'm sure he's received calls from GMs and head coaches about Harris.
Paul Harris is a good athlete but doesn't have the skill sets to play in the NBA. He's 6'4 but can't shoot and doesn't have the handles to be a SG at the next level. He's too short for a small forward. His coach at Syracuse, Jim Boeheim, would play Andy Rautins ahead of Harris when the games were close. He might get drafted because of his athleticism but i dont think he'll do much of a difference for an NBA squad.
He missed his time, but his body and defensive presence are downright scary at the NBA Level. I think he goes mid second and this can be something special if he develops a jump shot. Would have been at bear minimum a late first round pick out of High School. I don't know how much College did help out his game, instead I think it hurt it to be honest with you.
Actually I remember the Hype about this kid and he could have gone high out of high school. Also he is raw but he has enough talent that in the right system, he could be a valuable player and maybe a future Kobe stopper and I am not saying he will stop Kobe but he may get that title like Battier and some others have had from time to time.

What do you guys think about him. He had a decent year at syracuse. do you think he will get draft. He will most likely be a mid 2 rounder i think.
