MalcolmxParticipantPierre Jackson who played a major role in Baylor University making a good run this year is a very good player.Towards the end of their post season run he was starting more games. He was national Junior college player of the year his sophomore year, than transitioned into high major D1 ball pretty easily this year as a junior. He averaged 13ppg 3rpg and 6apg which is good stats regardless of what class you are in. He is a very good 3 point shooter with good arc and elevation on his shot.Has a neat handle, and he is an extremely explosive athlete.Speed wise and vertically.A lot of people don’t even bother putting anyone in Nate Robinson category when it comes to being an athlete but Pierre is very close.Nate may be stronger.Pierre’s probably main setback is his hieght at 5’10 and he does get out of control at times like most explosive players do. I think he can be a late first rounder next year depending on how under control he looks and if he can distribute the ball even a litte better maybe around 8apg.He will only be 21 when the draft comes up next season. He won’t be one of those older 23 year old seniors. What do you guys think?Does Pierre have a shot at getting picked in the 25-30 range next year?

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantNo way he’s a late first round pick he’s more of a bubble second round pick, he plays too out of control, looks for his own shot too much, he hasn’t shown the ability to run a team in the half court Plus him being only 5’10 in a league where point guards are becoming huge yes he’s athletic but his size leaves him a liability on defense

Meditated StatesParticipantRight now. Shoots too many bad shots. Not good at running plays. Needs huge improvement in pg skilld this year to even get 2nd rd talk. Did not like his game last season.

FastAndFuriousParticipantHard to tell, he is a little bit of a jacker, but at the same time he potentially can be really good.
I understand the comments about him being too much of a shooter and too out of control, but he also at the same tim was the MVP of that Baylor team and the transition he made from JUCO to D1 that fast is pretty darn good, going from JUCO champion to Elite 8 in a matter of months.
His athleticism and the fact that he can shoot(40% 3, 48% FG) is always going to be a feather in his cap, if he improves this year he will hear his name called, i wont say first round for sure, but I think he will get called.

MalcolmxParticipantAaron brooks is kind of a chucker too. It’s a few under 6 foot chuckers in the league. I really feel pierre can make it into the league and do pretty well. Yes he does have a long ways to go but once again he is pretty young even to be a rising senior. He still is 20 years old.

Wahoo757ParticipantWell for comparisons sake Isaiah Thomas was the same size as Pierre Jackson and Thomas was a much better college player than Jackson and Isaiah was drafted 60th. Much higher chance of Pierre Jackson going undrafted than going in the 1st round in my opinion.

JoeWolf1He doesn’t excite me very much as a NBA prospect. He’s not a true point guard and like someone mentioned, he is a bit of a chucker. He’s a phenominal athlete, but I don’t feel that is enought to get him drafted. I think he’s a late 2nd round to undrafted free agent type of player.
He has a gamer’s mentality because he wants the ball in his hands down the stretch, but his decision making is often flawed. Undersized combo guards are not uncommon, and I don’t feel the success of Isaiah Thomas gives Jackson a better chance in the NBA.
He reminds me of Randy Culpepper.
