Sewok15ParticipantMy thoughts exactly. He reminds me of Nate Robinson with more playmaking ability. He looks like he could be a potentially great 6th man with his ability to play point and score in bunches. His size is the only thing keeping him out of the lottery. If he was 6″3 he would go top 10. I think he has an outside chance to sneak into the end of the first round but expect him to be one of the first 10 guys taken in round 2 for sure.

MalcolmxParticipantHow much of a career do you guys think P.Jack can or will have. Guys like Isaiah Thomas make Gm’s not want to be so scary about drafting smaller guys. Their hearts are a lot bigger. He got all up in Ben Mclemore grill a few times even being 7 inches shorter he got a hand on one of his shots. He can play D,shot it from deep, get in the lane easily and dish it. And not to mention his freakish athleticism. That play he had where he pushed it hard up the court had to change direction on Eli Johnson then rose up with two hands for an And 1 dunk was insane. When you sit and look at it. It’s so much athletic ability in that one play with the speed, change of direction and pogo stick jump. Someone needs to pick him in the early second round at least.

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantI think we have to compare him to Nate Robinson and Isaiah Thomas because of his and explosive athleticism. Like Sewok said, if he were 6’3″ he’d be in the lottery, but he can be a great dynamo just like those players and J.J Barea. He has a really tough game, plays with tons of swagger, isn’t scared of anyone. I like that in any player. I think he can sneak into round 2 especially if they have a good showing from here on out. He could be a good bench player for some teams, and a fringe starter just like the other 3 players I mentioned. I don’t think Thomas should be starting for Sacramento but I do think he’s a good player.

Wahoo757ParticipantIf Isaiah Thomas got drafted, then Pierre should get drafted. Their measurements and statistics are very similar, but Pierre has the edge in terms of athleticism. He’ll probably be a mid-late 2nd rounder.

TRC1991ParticipantPierre over-penetrates like a crazy person, his decision-making is atrocious… Isaiah was soo much smarter and more controlled

MalcolmxParticipantPierre is going to kill the combine.

JoeWolf1He reminds me more of Randy Culpepper than he does, Isiah Thomas. Pierre is a guy who has been in and out of my mock all season, but after watching him last night,, he reminded me how much of a competitor he is, something I love in a player. It’s not like a short combo has ever made it in the league, I still like him at the end of the 2nd round, but he’s not a guy I would bet against playing a few years in the league.

MalcolmxParticipantAlso the age thing comes up a lot especially when projecting undersized guys. Pierre is one of the youngest seniors in the nation. He’ll still be 21 on draft night won’t hit 22 until August.

surveParticipantgood to see Pierre get some love. Baylor and Scott Drew are horrible. Pierre doesnt get the respect he deserves I feel when looking at his production. Its funny that on this site he has been called “garbage” when he is anything but. I think he has more PG skills than Isaiah Thomas but his decision making is his major weakness to me.
