At this stage we are looking at picking approx 6-8th. Who do you think we will take ?

I am thinking a SF – Barnes or one of the Jones boys

they need 2 draft kemba a change a pace player who can get to the rim and finish and shoot the ball and has that clutch gene and he is a really good pg when put in that position and makes plays or they should take kanter if her slides

Im all about Brandon Knight. Sure we could use a big guy and all, but we need to start moving the ball around and getting out assists up. With some leadership we might actually look ok. Imagine Brandon Knight at pg, SG either Stucky if we keep him, or rip or bg, SF Austin Daye/ Jerebko, PF Greg Monroe and for Center you get yourself a decent free agent with the cap space you will have after letting Tay go, or worse case select a center in the second round with one of their two picks.

im not sure if brandon knight will be a good true pg.  we already have to undersized PG/SG ballhogs in stuckey and gordon.

if we land the 7th pick i would love to trade up w/stuckey or gordon and grab irving…

I’d say grabbing Valanciunas at 7 would be a bargain, even though taking an international big didn’t work out so well for them in 2003, because an athletic energy guy would be the perfect fit alongside Monroe’s more fundamentally sound all-around game. Daye should get the chance to start after Prince leaves, and there are better SFs available next year, best to find a PG or big man to pair with Monroe, and move Stuckey to the SG position in my opinion.

Dude, this is completely ridiculous…are you aware r377 that all 3 of the guys you suggested the pistons take this year have decided to go back to school for their sophomore seasons? and the pistons dont need a SF at all regardless if those guys were to declare, they have an investment in jonas jerebko and even one in austin daye, not to mention they still have tayshaun prince too.
