Playoff Team Predictions

With most of the signings done, let's take a look at who everyone thinks will make the playoffs 1 through 8 seed. Mine:

West
1. Oklahoma City
2. LA Clippers
3. San Antonio
4. Golden State
5. Houston
6. Memphis
7. Denver
8. Minnesota

Just Missed: Dallas, Portland, New Orleans

East
1. Miami
2. Indiana
3. Brooklyn
4. Chicago
5. New York
6. Atlanta
7. Detroit
8. Washington

Just Missed: Cleveland, Toronto

I think that's a little too

I think that's a little too high for Brooklyn. KG and Pierce are pretty old now and I don't think Kidd will have them playing anywhere close to 82 games to keep them fresh for a playoff run. As it was with the Celtics, the playoffs were the most important time for the truth and the big ticket. I could see the Nets being a 5 seed. I would have Chicago as the 3 seed.

everybody is super high on clevland here

you are going to get a lot of down votes, but the last three positions in the east and the last two in the west are the ones that are really up for grabs... I could totally see it panning out the way you said. Actually, no, I would prob put in portland and take out denver... gallo is going to be hurt for awhile and they have no one else who can score from the wing. whereas, Portland improved their weakest position while also gaining depth to their bench... Maybe Dallas could get in... ellis and calderon are a lot better than what they had at that position last year, but i dunno.. they have no center... we'll see.

"they have no one else who

"they have no one else who can score from the wing" Wilson Chandler played 25 mins per game and put up 13 points with 42% from 3. Evan Fournier had some breakout games as well and could end up starting at our 2 at some point.

I think

East:
1. Heat
2. Pacers
3. Nets
4. Bulls
5. Knicks
6. Pistons
7. Wizards
8. Toronto

I left Boston out because who knows when or how Rondo will return, without Rondo they are not a playoff team.
Left Cleveland out because you can't trust Bynum yet and Vareajo has been injury prone these last couple of years as well.

West:
1. Thunder
2. Clippers
3. Rockets
4. Spurs
5. Warriors
6. Grizzles
7. Timberwolves
8. Nuggets

1. Pacers 2. Heat 3. Nets 4.

2. Heat
3. Nets
4. Bulls
5. Knicks
6. Cavaliers
7. Washington
8. Toronto

Simply because I think Miami will coast through the season a bit, as a lot of championship teams do. They think they have an on and off switch. Indiana has something to prove so they will go for the #1 seed.

1. Thunder
2. Clippers
3. Rockets
4. Spurs
5. Warriors

7. Timberwolves
8. Pelicans
