gatorheelsParticipantI DO….as long as they re-sign Felton & May and also sign another descent free agent
PG-Felton/Augustin
SG-Bell//Henderson
SF-Wallace/Brown/Henderson
PF-Diaw/May
C-Okafor/Diop/AjincaThat looks like a playoff team in the East to me.

Knicksboy34ParticipantMaybe…I think it’s between NY, Indiana and Charlotte for the 8th spot.

gatorheelsParticipantI just don’t think they will sign Iverson…..he will probably want too much money. I could see Charlotte signing McCants.

llperezI think they will come up just short of the playoffs. I think Indiana gets in before them.

specialkParticipantI could see the east going something like
1)Celtics
2)Magic
3)Cavs
4)Philly
5)Wizards
6)Bobcat
7)Atl
8)Chicago0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/27/2009 - 4:17pm #172508
Michael.S.Participantthey will only gett better with beasley and chalmers

specialkParticipantBut Haslem and the rest of the team is getting older and they are making no strides to improve. Wade is on the elite level and those two are good players but I think Chicago has just more talent.

Knicksboy34ParticipantMy east predictions with comments
1.Boston- Coming Back with a Vengeance.
2.Orlando- Vince keeps them in the top 2
3.Cleveland- Shaq is a great addition but will not repeat 66 win season
4. Washington- With rebound and be highly improved
5.Philadelphia- Solid team, Brand will push them up a spot
6. Chicago- Rose in Year 2?
7.Atlanta- will not make it if they let Bibby Walk
8. Miami- Will slide…needs to get someone in FA9. NY- just by a inch….

Michael.S.Participanton the Pacers and imo the cavs will have the best record in the league

Knicksboy34ParticipantI dont think so…I think Boston and Orlando will be better. I dont see Cleveland repeating a 66 win season

llperezI have them 8th, so it’s not like I think they are great. But they had a lot of injuries last year. Granger is an all-nba caliber player. Dunleavy was awesome 2 years ago, and if he comes back healthy, he gives them a second option. Murphy had a breakout season and should be even better with more help around him. Hibbert and Rush looked very solid as rookies and I think both can become more solid role players this year. With guys like Jack, Ford, Hansbrough, Daniels, and Foster, they have a very well rounded team. Don’t sleep on the Pacers.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantAtlanta Will Not Make The Playoffs Because they have Jamal Crawford This Guy Is 2 Much Ruckus For a Franchise…….And They Are Trying 2 use him as a point guard because they are probably not gunna resign bibby so i think they will drop 2 8th or 7th or maybe out of playoff race

dwat4444ParticipantPhilly and Atlanta will drop. Chicago and Wizards will move up. my order…
1. Cleveland
2. Orlando
3. Boston
4. Chicago
5. Washington
6. Miami
7. Philly
8. Atlanta/Indiana
4-6 will be very tight and the race for the last 2 spots will be interesting also. Here’s my west to…
1. Los Angeles
2. Denver
3. San Antonio
4. Portland
5. Houston
6. Neworleans
7. Utah
8. OKC
I don’t see all of dallas, houston, NO, or Utah making the playoffs and I think the thunder will be there to take on of their spots.0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/27/2009 - 6:20pm #172541
Michael.S.Participantto make the playoffs, the only team out of dallas ,houston, No, or Utah possibly missing the playoffs is No because besides Paul and West and Peja if healthy the team is a bunch of scrubs
OKC—-their time will come soon but not next year

dmo21Participantwhy doesnt anyone give toronto props.. they were in the playoffs two years ago and were playing excellent basketball at the end of the year last year.. so this year with actually good athletic wings i see them moving back into the playoff race, with or without bosh
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/27/2009 - 6:35pm #172549
Michael.S.Participantis turining into an all-star, and DeRozan is going to be explosive at the wing, and Calderon is a top 10 point, Marion is a good wing along side Derozan who can also put up big #’s but Bosh is a lock to leave and they need more depth IMO
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/27/2009 - 6:38pm #172551
dmo21Participantare you proving they are good or bad with that statement, because they easily have the talent to be a great team, and i say keep bosh til the trade dead line, and if it looks like toronto is heading to the playoffs, keep him and see if you can go on a run, but if the playoffs look unlikely, trade him to a contender and get the best you can for him
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/27/2009 - 6:44pm #172553
dwat4444ParticipantHouston a lock??? Wtf? No way. T-Mac is out more than likely. Yao will play at most 42 games. So let’s say they win 35 with yao. Now they have the other 42 games to play with a lineup where your stars are Ron Artest, Aaron Brooks, and Scola? That is a very very very poor lineupe. plus their losing wafer. Look a dallas’s team right now. Yes you have Dirk who is a stud but after that you have no one. Kidd is almost 37 now and is not good anymore. Howard and Dampier are out. So where are they getting wins from? JJ Barea? and new orleans is going to move peja and chandler so their left with nothing also. I’m sorry but those teams just don’t have enough talent. Just try to compare them to the thunder position by position and you’ll be amazed.
