If you get bored, you should go to the All Points page, and just hit refresh every 2 seconds. Its funny watching these points change for different users. In the past minute, bs jumped up like 500+ points, and Mr. 6000 is losing points. About 20 per second.

they should start clean and put everyone at zero once they fix the point thing. That's what they did last year when this happened.

The point system is irrelevent, flawed, and useless, I dont know why people care so much about it.

They need to fix it, or just get rid of the idea altogether

Mr. 6000's points are going up and down. Two people must be going different ways with the thumps up/thumbs down for him.

Hot stock of the minute, get your Mr. 6000 stock. Going up 10 pts per second. Everyone must be jumping onto this hot stock. His 60 prospects in 30 days is just blowing the scene up.

I was wondering why my points jumped up by 300 from last night. I thought someone just didn't have a life last night and decided to get me a bunch of points lol.

This has to be a first on the market. A new stock rising to all time highs and then falling back down all in one trading day.

Aran needs to restructure the points system.

- First... He needs to permanently fix the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. This is the second time they've messed up. If he can't fix them permanently, then he might as well scrap the system.

- Second... If you're not willing to post why you agree or disagree with someone, then you shouldn't be allowed to give or take their points. The main purposes of this site are to discuss and debate opinions.

I agree there should be limit on how many negatives you can give based off how many times you post, or give positives. Except i can do whatever i want.

I think Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was right, we need an age limit for people who can give and take points.

maybe select a point committee? And anyone who gets to negative 200 they have to face the committe as to why they deserve to stay or else be banished to the NBA forum where they can work on their posting skills and try and redeem themsleves.

They could just have a thumbs up button so if you like the post you give it a thumbs up but if you don't just don't give them a thumbs up. There are too many negative points without people saying why as many people have pointed out.

if you rapidly hit the points button either positive or negative you can deduct or add multiple points at a time. That is why this is happening. I checked to see and it works both ways. I tend to double click when I add a point or deduct for people so I apologize also if I have taken away an extra point away from anyone.

For instance if I rapidly hit the negative button 100x for a user, 100 points would be deducted from their account.

Thing is, for whatever post I take away from or add, the counter on that post will only go up or down 2 or 3 points if i hit it rapidly. Even so, it still will add or deduct for as many times as i hit the counter.

There ya go... now everyone can give themselves 999999999999999 points.

I never wanted to have 5,000+ points, man. I don't know who did this to me. Adi, if you're reading this, I don't care if you reset my points to zero; just don't delete my "Welcome" topic or "Popcorn Story Numero Dos." They firmly established my rock-star status on this site :-)

I'm 91.37% positive that it has something to do with this new server.
