Points system

look at the right of your screen. it says your screen name and then:

* Create content
* My account
* Invite your friends and colleagues
* My points
* Search for Players
* Users by points
* Log out

click on users by points and you will see the list of users ranked based on points and guess who is tied for #1: faintingoat!

I'm guessing FaintingGoat. Thats probably why you don't ever see posts from him. So you can't take points away from him, but he can back.

It's a good idea, but people are being ridiculous about the whole thing. I'd much rather see the idea tossed than stay from it's apparent reactions to it.

If your points are either real low or high, that means people dont like you because the points you bring up are good.

Not really sure why people are hating on me, ha.. Didn't even know what the points system was until I read this post. Still not entirely sure but from what I do understand I say get rid of it. This site was better off when you could have a legitimate conversation with people and not reprimand individuals if they share a different viewpoint. Here's my post, take away as many points as you like yupyup and clippers : ), don't necessarily understand your standpoint yupyup considering you're one point behind me, but whatever, who the hell cares? Honestly, FaintingGoat points don't matter to me. Take away as many points from me as you want too. They mean nothing. Like you said it ruins the entire point of the site, other people have been what you could say victimized though, and it is pretty cruel.

It is that way, because you have or had one of the highest scores but only a very limited amount of posts. I guess that is our bad.

its because u had the highest point total yet were not posting (to avoid points getting taken away) and had a large rise while others at the top had a large decline.

Well I apologize even though I have no reason to apologize in the first place. Whose to say somebody just liked one of my posts and did just the opposite (vote in a positive manner excessively) of what you guys are accusing me of right now. How has my points score risen? I'm not sure how it works but I couldn't imagine you can vote in either way on one of your OWN posts! I have started a couple threads and really only give my input when it comes to Memphis Grizzlies discussions because that is the only topic on here I care about. Don't be so quick to point the finger at somebody when you have no basis of fact in your opinion.

Like I care either way but I've noticed my point total has dropped about 8 points since I posted my initial rant on this thread. Is that in anyway related to you yupyup or clippers? If so, it seems like a little reverse victimization going on don't you think. The very reason this thread was posted in the first place. I've also noticed clippers has risen by 13 points while yupyup's has risen by 3. Interesting

this whole points thing is lame. I can usually tell who here has unbiased intelligent reasoning vs the younger nuthuggers who just want to argue. The point totals mean nothing everybody.
