butidonthavemoneyBJ Mullens promised Top 20? Chicago? Minnesota?
Austin Daye Top 20? Detroit? Phoenix?
Tyreke Evans #6?
Stephen Curry #8?
DeJuan Blair #11?
Terrence Williams #7?
Jeff Teague #10?
Omri Casspi 1st Round? Portland? Cleveland?
Do you think there is any truth to any of these? What other rumored promises have you heard?

Yankeep12Participantif Daye hears he is falling into the 20s, he promised that he’ll go back to school.

rvirsalParticipantdaye, i think he was promised a top 20 already, but no one’s saying who. teague i believe hasn’t been promised yet. milwaukee likes him a lot though but i think they were also looking to get flynn if not teague. dell curry also said that the knicks have not contacted curry. stephen curry likes to play for the knicks though and i think he’s already shutting down workouts for other teams, so i think he’s found a team.

butidonthavemoneyYeah, I just found something on Daye.

I guess it wasn’t Detroit.

burningfloodParticipantI sincerely doubt that the Warriors will draft Williams with the 7th pick. If they do, they’d trade down to get him.

butidonthavemoneyIf the Mavs trade Josh Howard to Washington I think we can pencil in Jordan Hill at 5.
Demar DeRozen at #9 is another rumor.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI am REALLY hoping that rumor would be true… Demar Derozan would be a perfect fit for the Toronto Raptors… He’s still raw but he’ll develop well in the NBA… So the Raptors better make sure they’ll get him out..

marcusfizer21ParticipantPromises in this league are meant to be broken… You’ll see what I mean… Like for one in the 2007 NBA Draft, Spencer Hawes was promised by the Bulls that he’d be taken 9th… Yet they choose the rugged Joakim Noah since he was available… Gilbert Arenas was promised by Sacramento that they’d take him at 25… Kings choose Gerald Wallace… A lot of promises but I dont believe in all of it… Derrick Rose would say, he’ll only believe it once the Bulls will call his name down.

butidonthavemoneyGood point Fizer. But I think that some of these promises are legit. BJ Mullens has stopped working out for other teams, and Austin Daye is remaining in the draft (probably, today is the deadline). I’m not sure their agents would take such a big risk if they weren’t positive something was already in place.
Austin Daye, BJ Mullens and Terrence Williams. The three biggest question marks in terms of where they could be drafted..

marcusfizer21ParticipantI agree with you mr.idonthavemoney… I’ll talk briefly about Daye… In high school, he was a highly-touted prospect… but what happened? his stock completely fell down the drain.. and now I’m not sure where he’ll end up now… But I see potential over his thin frame… BJ Mullens too was a top 2 pick before but his stock is quite mysterious now… I wouldnt be surprise if he will be available in the 2nd round… As for T-Will, I expect him to be able to get in the 1st round.
