WhiteKD35ParticipantHello guys, i read this site everyday for three- four years, and finally decided to create account on my own. I obviously don’t watch alot of NCAA but i keep track of scores and prospects since i’m from Europe, Lithuania to be exact. But i have one question: why not any of Florida seniors are not in draft mock? I mean cmon i don’t see Patric Young going undrafted, his body is worth a consideriment in second round. Scottie Wilbekin may be undersized but he’s quick and might fill 2nd-3rd point guard role. What are your thoughts?

imAboutDatActionParticipantPatric Young is not a good rebounder for his size. has no offensive moves. not someone who’ll jump out the gym. not a center, a 6’9 PF with no offensive game or defensive potential. basically has no upside, just another good college player.
Wilbekin is not quick or a great athlete. not a great passer. average vision. average shooter at the college level, shot 40% from the field. he is a good defender, i’ll give him that. but he’s another guy who’s just a good college player, but i dont see any upside with him.
Prather has no role in the NBA. 6’6 with no perimter game.basically an undersized PF.
that florida team had alot of heart, passion, toughness, and chemistry. they were good college players, but none of them stood out and have a role in the NBA. pretty impressive what they were to accomplish this year, even if they didnt make the championship game.

JoeWolf1I think Wilbekin isn’t a good prospect, for reasons listed above, but is a good enough ball player and has enough skill at the point, and in pick and rolls that he could play his way in through the D-League.
Young is their best "prospect" eligible this year, and I have him at 60 in my mock. Teams occasionally take fliers on size, and Young is big enough to play C in the league. I don’t have a lot of faith in him having a long career, though, as he projects as a defensive C who is a well below average rim protector.

Ghost01ParticipantI would be shocked if Patric Young didn’t get picked, really don’t think there is a conceivable way it happens.

HomerKangParticipantI think Patric Young is the only one from that team with any real chance of making it in the NBA. He can potentially be a serviceable player, a backup PF. I see him as a poor man’s Charles Oakley or a poor man’s Antonio Davis.
