Rajon Rondo, it’s time to cut the talk about Rondo and he only being good because of the cast.

He’s probably the best PG in the East.. word to Derrick Rose. But people still think that he’s doing good because of Pierce, Allen, Garnett, and Perkins. It’s time to stop the talk.

This kid is really that good because he’s a good and willing passer. He’s also a very pesky defender and has good hands. His mid-range jumper isn’t consistent but he works on it. He’s one of the best PG rebounders.. Kidd and Westbrook top that list.

The reason why he’s so good so soon? Confidence. He won an NBA championship at a very early age. His confidence level is off the charts, and it’s because he’s playing the game with veterans.. Not just some 10 year vets.. We’re talking about top level veterans. Pierce is one of the best Celtics to play the game, while the Celtics are one of the best franchises of all time. Allen is the 2nd best 3pt shooter. Garnett is one of the toughest players to play the game and probably the 2nd or 3rd best PF of ALL TIME.. Duncan/K.Malone

To be the beat, you gotta beat the best and learn from the best.
He beat the Lakers in ’08.. He beat the best.
He’s on the same team as KG, Sheed, Allen, Pierce. He’s learning from the best.

Thus, Rajon Rondo will be a household name for the next 10 years..

I’ve always liked Rondo. He’s unbelievably good at every single aspect of basketball, except shooting. He’s an unbelievable passer though. And that shot of his is moving closer and closer to being a respectable weapon. You can no longer defend at the free throw line when he has the ball at the 3-point line. Although Rondo has a much more consistent jumper now.. if he can add a pull up to his game, or a more consistent 3pt shot he will be for sure hte best in the east.

I used to think the same thing, but Rondo is an elite point guard. He does everything at an elite level, except shoot the ball.

He isn’t a superstar, since he can’t dominate or will his team to victory offensively, BUT… He is a star. I think he’s a Jason Kidd type of point guard, just without the size.

Surprisingly Paul isn’t very good on the ball. He kind of reminds me of Allen Iverson in the fact he averages a lot of steals, but isn’t a very good on ball defender.

Pretty scary to think he’s going to be a franchise player in 2-3 years.. He and Kendrick Perkins are going to need to step it up.. KP43 actually worked on his offense and now he has a little 7 ft jumper. time to extend it to about 12ft.. then eventually 15-17.
