No Kanter? Kanter is big, young, inexperienced and will only get better once the Jazz shore up space in their frontline.

    Brandon Knight should be higher.

Josh Selby received votes for rookie of the year and he’s not even on there (sarcasm)

Why would Minnesota take Faried #2 when they already have Kevin Love at the PF position??? Help me understand – it makes no sense to me!!

Rookies like Kanter (big men take longer to develop than guards) typically don’t play in the playoffs. What is your criteria for production?

If you’re looking at PER, Kanter and Klay Thompson have similar numbers. Also, how do you compare Kanter’s 14.52 PER to Shumbert’s 10.83 PER? Even Tristan Thompson has a worse PER (13.37) than Kanter. I didn’t bother looking at the other players’ PER’s, but I still don’t see how Kanter was omitted from your list.

Please help me understand the criteria you’re using.

I also thought Kanter’s production was good. He had to play behind Jefferson, Millsap and Favors. He played 13.2 MPG and still managed to put up 4.6 PPG, 4.2 RPG and shot 49.6% FG. If he had played twice as many minutes he would’ve almost averaged a double-double. Not bad for a rookie.

Kanter is clearly going to be a beast….If I were Utah I would try to deal both Jefferson and Milsap to free up some minutes for Favors and Kanter….I also would have put Vucevic from the Sixers on the list. He is another skilled big man that didn’t get many minutes but made the most of the ones he did get.
