OhCanada-ParticipantThis might be an extremely smart move by Ricardo. Ledo was my favourite wing freshman not named Shabazz this year and I think he is a lock for the first round.
Does anyone else think he can sneak into the first round or lotto wiith some great workouts and interveiws.

He is very talented, just think this is NOT a good move for him. Of course workouts are one thing, if he kills it he could move up a tad. The issue is that he has not really played against anyone and their could be major apprehension surrounding background checks. Heard he was fine at Providence, just look at the comment in that thread that a coach told Rob Dauster. Even taking that with a grain of salt, one has to be really weary about how Ricky might fit onto an NBA team.

FastAndFuriousParticipantIDK, he should have done what McLemore did, red-shirted and went back and solidified himself as a top draft pick, he’s going into the draft, not playing a whole year and with not much hype behind him either.
Enes Kanter didn’t play his year in college but he had mad hype and was always considered a top draft pick, the same thing can’t be said for Ledo, his name isn’t buzzing right now, one bad workout and that might be it for him.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI agree with Fast & Furious, the difference between Kanter & Ledo is that Kanter was considered a top 3 pick or possibly top pick, before his freshman year.. Ledo was barely mentioned as a late 1st rounder before his freshman yr…
But since this draft is so weak, more teams might be willing to gamble big…And take a chance on him, feeling they dont have anything to lose….Ledo have a few things that will help him, size, the ability to create plays for himself and others and maybe 1 of the most versatile offensive games since Kevin Durant…..

qDizzle32ParticipantYour hella late on that bro. It was weeks ago when he made the decision to leave the Friars after never playing a game for them.

SiggyParticipantRelying solely on workouts to determine stock is a terrible idea. Just a bad decision all around, but it was expected.

BasketballJunkie224Participanti feel like coming back n solidifying himself wouldve made the most sence. However, maybe he saw how loaded next years draft expects to be and figured he had to make a move soon. I just wouldve loved to see how well he couldve did in college, just 1 of those things we’l never know

JoeWolf1Best case, someone takes a shot with him in the last 10 picks in case he plays well overseas or in the D-League. Ledo has some talent, but he’s nothing close to NBA ready. I don’t really see a scenario in which he gets drafted top 40 or is in the NBA next year.

providencefriars1ParticipantLedo has serious potential and may be better than half of the first rounders in this class but the problem is he was never able to show it. NBA scouts frequently visited PC to see Ledo practice but you can only see so much from a practice. This is not an ideal situation for Ledo, but from what I have heard things were not looking promising academically and that is why he is leaving. His grades were fine, but there was concern of him keeping his grades up next year with harder courses and more responsibilities. I am still optimistic about his NBA future and I do think he could sneak into the late first round but most likely he will be picked mid second round

ManLugerParticipantAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LMAO buddy said one of the most versatile offensive games since KD. Just because he really got off on 6 foot high school kids and had a good hoopmixtape you riding the pipe like that ? Man hasn’t played one game of college ball, and ya’ll talking lotto. Saying upside and potential. He has no body of work. Case dismissed.

providencefriars1ParticipantYou realize he played in the NEPSAC in HS which is the most competitive league in the country. For example, Brewster Academy in that league, had a starting five of Semaj Christon, Aaron Thomas (FSU), TJ Warren, Jakarr Sampson, and Jalen Reynolds(Xavier) with Mitch McGary coming off the bench. Wilbraham and Monson and NMH have 11 D1 prospects a piece. Obviously its not the NBA, but the kids that he is beating on the mixtapes are no slouches.

moochieeParticipantHe should go first round. I would definitely take a chance on him in a draft like this.
