Kyrie IrvingI don’t think the bigs will be able to get nearly as many good looks as Irving/Lillard/Thompson.
Chuck’s inside presence will not overcome Shaq’s outside shooting.
Chuck placed a burden on Rubio, he will have to create most of the shots and it will seem like a struggle.
Shaq’s team will seemingly effortless swing the ball around and get Buckets all night0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/15/2013 - 4:38pm #747982

Mr. 19134ParticipantThis video is fast forwarded just a little bit, but in real time it was just as embarrassing. Seeing this tonight and I’m ready to say that Kyrie Irving is the closest thing to Allen Iverson I’ve saw since. It’s Kyrie’s unlimited ball handling arsenal and his ability to pull up anywhere on anybody that makes him similar. Althought If this was an Iverson GIF it would look like it’s in slow motion compared to how fast AI would pull a move off.
But Yeah Kyrie is a problem, he’s a scoring machine whose impossible to guard one on one

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantBrandon Knight got Kyrie a couple of times but couldn’t finish the layups. Exciting 2minutes though

omphalosParticipantYeah the game was a snooze-fest until then, classic 1v1 match-up, I still really like Brandon Knight’s game and his decision to keep at him defensively. It was just unfair when Zeller came and set the pick though haha.

RafterParticipantDecent game overall, the winner was clear cut very early on so that ruined any sense of excitement that I had watching the game but it had it’s highlights. Rubio had some slick moves and that dual between Irving and Knight was pretty fun if a little bit in Irving’s favour, Kyrie was clearly the best player on the floor and he’s so much ahead of his peers it scares the hell out of me. I was thinking maybe Knight and Irving could be potential Eastern Conference rivals, even though Knight isn’t where Irving is at present. Knight has the right character to succeed and the talent to go with it IMO.
Once again, Barkley has shown that he’s misunderstood and has a better basketball mind than most good him credit for. He didn’t even have Irving or Lillard and still blew out O’Neal’s team.

TallmanNYCParticipantI always thought this game was going to be a dunk fest with Rubio lobbing to Davis and Manimal. Turns out I was half right as Manimal had MVP game and Davis was just good but so so. I thought Chuck’s team would get the win because of the first three guys he drafted were high effort, high efficiency guys. Guys who sometimes get questioned as not being very good because they don’t score a ton of points (though they obviously all score). I have much respect for Kyrie and he is the best player on the court that game. But I thought he would save it for the real all star game a bit. But he certainly didn’t. Still I thought Chuck’s team would win.
Once Drummond backed out though, it was over. And it has been funny listening to announcers say things like Shaqs team is going to win by 30. Chuck doesn’t know what he is doing. And people were saying this AFTER Drummond went down. I mean seriously, Chuck’s team didn’t even need to make shots (though they did), they were going to grab every offensive rebound and dunk it. And also they were going to look for alley oops all night, which no matter how good your PG’s jumper is, a dunk is going to be a higher percentage shot. I really felt sorry for Shaq once Drummond went down because this was an obvious blowout in the making.
