Rockets interested in Granger?
Granger's value all depends on how he performs when he comes back this week, if he performs well off the bench and still has it, then Indiana could snag a guy like Terrence Jones for him. I still think houston should pursue Josh Smith though
Parsons is a quality sf who is a steal with how much he makes. He may never be a player that will demand match but he is a solid starter.
Houston really only need a dominate 4 man. Sorry Patterson.
They already score enough points so Granger is not the answer.
Holford would be perfect for Houston yet ATL would never give him up.

Houston does already score a lot of points but Granger would fit perfectly with Lin and Harden. Granger doesn't need the ball to score...he can get you 18 a game on spotting up. Harden and Lin need to be on the ball dribbling around to create points so Granger would fit great from an offensive standpoint. Defensively they are pretty weak outside of Asik. They could use a tough 4 man who can score..but those guys aren't really available outside of Josh Smith.
Houston has both assets to trade and because Lin and Asik are relatively cheap as far as starters go (and the rookies are very cheap) they have tons of cap room. Since the team is coming together and proving to be playoff worthy, they may think the future is now and be willing to take a high priced veteran on their books for a year or two. Lin and Asik become free agents at the end of 2015, so this core team is only guaranteed to be together for three seasons. Granger's contract fits in there pretty well.
But as Shelt says, do they really need more scoring?
Like mcbailey said above... The Pacers don't really need a power forward. I mean, Tyler Hansbrough isn't exactly lighting it up, but the Pacers mainly need an upgrade at point guard. Not saying George Hill is a bum, but he's not really a point guard. He's more of a combo.
But George played alongside Granger last year. I don't know why he couldn't play with Parsons. It's moot anyway. I can't see Houston trading Parsons away. He's been more than solid all year but he's been very good lately.

Hoopshype reports Houston has an eye on Granger. I do not think it's that serious, but do you think Indy would bite and send Granger away for a couple of Houston's young PFs? If so- whoat would you want from Houston?
