Professor RozayParticipantSorry if this was posted already:
Ronnie Brewer is going to be a New York Knick. The Knicks have mad some good moves this summer. When Iman comes back healthy we have two star defense wing players. The garden is going to be jumping.

ProudGrandpaParticipantOnly problem: He’ll be stuck on the bench behind Shumpert and Anthony and will only get 12-15 minutes per game, if that

Professor RozayParticipantBut Iman is not going to be playing for the first half of the season. So right away he can start cause J.R is better as a sixith man. When he comes back he can get good minutes at both the 2 and 3 gaurd spot becasue he can guard both positions for the most part.

afa323233ParticipantWas thinking the same thing. Problem is he is definately worth more than a vet minimum. But not too many teams have any money left.

BELLY333333ParticipantIn theory, the Lakers may only carry 13 players, which would mean no Goudelock, Sacre or Johnson-Odom.

Devon RobinsonThe Miami Heat are planning to limit LeBron James‘ minutes as much as possible for this year’s preseason so he can be ready to go for the regular season. It’s apparent that James has been gassed out this summer with the NBA Finals and then a little weeks rest until two months filled with Olympics basketball.

Devon Robinson“For a lot of guys it’s a new beginning,” Dragic told HOOPSWORLD, “Trying to fit in a new system and on a new team and just trying to play as hard as possible. That’s good for us that nobody’s thinking we’re going to make the playoffs. There’s no pressure on us and I think we just have to play our game, battle every night.

Devon RobinsonAt the end of the day, Allen insists he did what was best for himself and everybody he’s close to. Sure, Miami gives him a better chance at another ring, but Allen admits that the money was better in Miami too. Who in their right mind wouldn’t leave an employer they feel undervalues them for a better situation that’s going to give you a significant pay raise?

Devon Robinson“He has shown great poise out on the floor,” Wizards head coach Randy Wittman said. “That’s something you can’t teach, especially to 19 year olds. Sometimes it takes a couple of years in the league to develop a poise out on the floor, but he has shown it thus far and it’s something he has to continue to look to do.”

Devon RobinsonNew York’s Carmelo Anthony also scored 24 points, but the Knicks dropped their first game of the preseason, losing 107-88 to Toronto. While the Knicks lost their first preseason game, the Lakers dropped their fifth straight, falling to 0-5 in the preseason. Kobe Bryant scored 22 points, but Los Angeles lost 103-98 to the Kings.

Devon RobinsonMany times, the road of a top pick is filled with pitfalls and potholes that could seal the end of a career in this league. After two years with the Minnesota Timberwolves, new Phoenix Suns offseason acquisitions Michael Beasley and Wesley Johnson could be at a crucial point in their young NBA careers.

Devon Robinson“I think that everybody has that mindset that we’ve got nothing to lose,” Johnson told HOOPSWORLD. “Just go out there and play basketball, go out there and have fun and be aggressive. Do what we need to do on both ends and I think that will take care of itself. But I think everybody’s hungry in this locker room, knowing what we have to do to win so I think it’s going to be a fun year for us.”
