Rubio is a baby!

You havent done anything. Nobody else is complaining about where they want to play publicly like he is. I dont think he's that good anyway, and now he is pouting. I just want to now who he thinks he is

He is acting like a primadonna, but he has also been a relative star since he was very young, so I could see how that could happen. I'm guessing his agent and other advisors have a lot to do with his reluctance to play for certain teams. Keep in mind he has to actually pay money to come to the NBA, so he is in a little bit of a different situation then the rest of the rooks.

is just being picky about where he wants to go. But If you look at the teams that he has apparently given the cold shoulder, He has fellow Spanish friends who have complained about Memphis, OKC already has Westbrook, and then Minn drafted Flynn right after him. I agree that it not very responsible of him to try to pick his team, but guys like Kobe and SFrancis have done it before and got there way. Also, like I said, I think it has a lot to do with his agent and advisors trying to pull strings as much as it does with Rubio.

He seemed mad about it after he got picked. When was on the couch talking with that ESPN reporter he was answering around the questions asked about whether he was happy about where he landed.

I can't believe the Wolves f ucked up this bad, I use to bi tch about McChale making stupid trades and decisions, but trading Foye and Mike Miller for a pick that gives you absolutely nothing.
This makes drafting Darko seem smart. give him a break...nvm. I'll stop there, I know I'm bias and it's obvious due to my name, but in honesty, he'll be playing for no profit next season if he comes because his contract will be used to pay for his buyout. What kind of team drafts 3 PG's and still has Telfair, trade someone or do something, all you need is 2 at the least and 3 at the most, but four is ridiculous. None are big enough to play the 2

He would have to compete against Flynn for that starting spot and we know who wins that. I agree that if they did not take Flynn he would be thinking different on this situation. Now he has to go into camp and go against a competitor and athelete like Flynn. There are no Zones in the NBA kid. The 3 point line is out even further so there is more space for you man to cross you up without help. He would not beat Flynn out of that starting position.

but i think if Rubio can gain some weight and bulk up he can guard some 2 guards, he's a great defender and he's 6'5

Great court vision, long lanky, not a whole bunch of scoring ability. a ton of upside, lets hope he doesnt get injured. bulking up is going to take atleast 2-4 years for him due to his small frame, but if hes skilled enough which i dont think he is, it shouldnt matter.. look at kevin durant dude couldnt bench 185 and is all-star level.

He had no objections to OKC or Sacramento. There are a lot of players who refused workouts with Memphis (Curry, Harden), because they didn't think Memphis is heading in the right direction.

He got sick? So what? He still did the interview. He wasn't planning a workout because his best skill is passing and you can't show it off with nobody to pass to.

He hasn't complained about Minnesota, there were a BILLION reports that said Rubio likely wouldn't come play in the NBA if he wasn't picked in the top 4. Minnesota drafting another point guard didn't help them. He was upset that he fell and is getting paid less, not that he is going to Minnesota.

He has been a popular basketball player, but his parents did not allow him to talk to the media or get any kind of endorsments until he turned 18. I don't think he is a premadonna at all.

Rubio is financially up against a corner with nowhere to turn and he has been through a lot with his buy-out and the lawsuit. Why can't people just be happy for him?

So if he goes back he's only gonna make 125,000 this upcoming season...he'll make that in 1 month in the NBA!!!

And Flynn had nothing to do with it...you could see the disappointment on his face as soon as Stern called his name, he only wanted to go 2 SAC or NY & when that didn't happen he's all of a sudden going back to Spain...he needs to grow up, he should be happy to be a top 5 pick in the best league in the world!!!

They drafted him to hold his a$$ for ransom. They know Flynn is a star waiting to happen. If Rubio wants to compete and beats Flynn out the team is his. If he cries like he is doing, listen to offers and take the best one on the table.

I like Jonny Flynn..but him and Rubio on the court at the same time would be a HUGE disaster. They wouldnt play off each other good on either side of the floor. Esp. on d, where they would be one of the worst in the league
