If the kings get the #1 pick(Wall) does Tyreke move to a wing position?

Yes…and that would be a hell of a backcourt, especially in 2-3 years

I don’t think they’d be a good fit. Reke’s strength is playing with the ball in his hands, not off the ball. That became clear at Memphis. I think he’d have a rough time adjusting to it.

i think they would be in a tough situation cuz you dont trade draft when its the first one and they had as much hype as wall
but you dont trade a rookie who just averaged 20 5 5…
they would have to play them together and try it for a year or so but i dont think it would work…but guys need the ball but there defense would be nice…

Yes. That’s Tyreke’s natural position anyway.

I think Reke would be pleased with Wall’s playmaking abilities. Wall is good at setting people up

yeah but in college thats when his team took off…when he played point guard…..he made all the decisions…but with Wall there do you think Tyreke will be as affective…i doubt it..Evens will need to learn how to play off the ball like his ole teamate Martin…

Really its similar to the Lebron James situation he came in this league a PG, but as soon as Cavs signed natural PG(Jeff McInnis). He moved off the ball and was still able to set up teammates and make plays.

yeah, a lot of people talk about how reke is not an pg. But he has the ball in his hands all the time and im not sure he would be effective playing off the ball. He is not a spot up shooter. But if the kings got the number 1 pick, im sure they would take wall and see if it could work.

    i agree gatorhills..lol
and cavs still didnt make the play off that year i dont think…..when you have you have one dominating the ball…the other either has to be a spot of shooter or be able to move with the ball…
wall and evan dont have both of those qualities…

im sure they would still take wall and beg evans to learn to shoot better. that team is years and years away from being a contender so they have time to get evans to make his jumper better

yeah, they have plenty of time to try it out, no championship is coming soon. they would be down right idiotic if they traded wall without trying him next to tyreke. It would either be a bunch of layups or a very crowded paint.

What if you trade the pick for something? Udrih and Evans work well together and saying you trade Wall is a sin BUT imagine what holes you could fill if your Sac. Maybe you trade the top pick for another high pick and get Cousins as well as a veteran presence. What could they get in a trade?
Personally in the NBA I think you should always draft by who you think is a better talent, but it would be interesting to see what another team would do for that pick.

I think the Kings trading Wall isn’t that far fetched… I remember when the Magic drafted Chris Webber, who was hands down the best player in the draft, with the first pick and traded him to the Warriors for Penny Hardaway.

It’s just my opinion, but I don’t think Wall will be better than Evans. Why take the ball out of Evans’ hands? Depending on the way the lottery turns out, I wouldn’t be surprised if they traded Wall to a team for the player they have at the top of their draft board, plus another player and/or picks.

I hope Indiana gets the first pick… They needed a superstar fast! John Wall could save that franchise…

Sacramento trading Wall would create some buzzing around draft night… Yeah it’ll be like that practically… with Webber-Hardaway swappings… They needed a guy who can move without the ball and probably a guy like Evan Turner fits the bill but that’s just me…

Lol right on Fizer! We need that top pick bad… We need a superstar. I mean, Granger is an All-Star caliber player, but he just doesn’t have the superstar quality appeal.

If we don’t land the top pick, I hope we get the 2nd. Turner would fit in perfectly almost immediately.
