Sacramento Kings
Honestly, they just need someone who wants to pass the ball. All the players they have are guys who want the ball a lot and want to score. Deal/sign for a veteran PG who can make plays for others and they would probably be much more successful, or draft the best playmaking PG. I like Thomas but he isn't that type of player.
How much youth does that team need? One of their biggest problems is that they're full of dumb youth with no vets to show em the ropes and get in their ear when they play stupid basketball.
They need a good coach and some vets first, then they can draft whoever they want with their pick.
Hit the nail on the hammer. People just keep talking about the players they need to draft. Talent isn't the issue, its the basketball IQ and coaching. They are doing the same thing they did last night, they are playing as a team and Cousins continues to make bone head decisions. A long with that he just got ejected. Good lord.
Kings are talent but they are not the right mix.
The have a solid big man in Cousins and they have a nice bench player in Thornton.
Isaiah Thomas is a good fit
Jimmer looks good but is another scorer which the team has plenty of
Robinson is good but will he ever get a chance to start and if so where will Thompson go
Thompson is serviceable
James Johnson play well in small minutes and is young enough that could still be improving
Hayes is a beast but is limited offensively but that is a not a problem on this team
Aaron Brooks may not be a good fit but it is too early to tell
Tyreke Evans is a really good player on a the wrong team for him
Outlaw and Salmons are inconsistent and could easily be replaced.
Garcia does not play much anymore
Evans should be moved for a player that can help take pressure off of Cousins or help get him the ball.
They may need to get a perimeter player with range like K Martin who they traded. when healthy Martin helped them win game back in the day and they don't have any player on that team that can provide what he did for them.
Veteran leadership!!! It is the most underrated aspect on a basketball team. The best example is my Indiana Pacers (last season) who really turned a corner once the acquired David West and he brought a whole new mentality to the side. They need to move a guy like Evans or Thornton and find a leader. They are like the Wizards of last season and although they are struggling, it is for a lack of star power which they will get on Walls return.

You know what sucks about this team.
They have so much young talent but they need time to mature.
By the time these guys are 26-28, they'll be monsters. Only problem is, I don't see both Cousins and Tyreke on the Kings in 5 years. As a matter of fact, I probably don't see Thompson, I. Thomas, or maybe even Fredette by then.
I can see most of these guys getting huge deals when they hit free agency after their rookie contracts, completely blowing up a team that could have been good had they had initial success to entice players to sign before they hit free agency.
The King shouldn't even be aiming for the lottery in 2014.
Could the Kings trade for Jose Calderon? He put up massive assist numbers when Lowry was down. He has passed first his entire career and he has a steady outside shot.
I'll throw one name out there Andre Miller, he is not starting for Denver at the moment but is very much a pass first PG and is a true veteran and has always been regarded as a good presence. Or maybe even Chauncy Billups if he returns to fitness, the issue will be that the other team will push strongly for picks or a young piece and giving up a youngster for a veteran is always dodgy.

I really like the young core of Tyreke Evans, Thomas Robinson, and Demarcus Cousins but I think they need a pg and sf. In the this year and next year draft they need to get a pg and sf.
In the 2013 they should look to draft:
1: PG Marcus Smart
2: SF Shabazz Muhammad
3: SF Alex Poythress
4: PG Michael Carter Williams
In the 2014 they should look to draft:
1: SF Andrew Wiggins
2:SF Jabari Parker
3: PG Andrew Harrison
4: SF Kyle Anderson
