deuce4offThat dude who will be 24 by the time the next draft rolls around, that dude who’s an undersized SF who’s athleticism will be thwarted on the NBA level, and that dude who won’t succeed in the NBA.

michaelds911ParticipantWho cares if he is old and shoots funny, that dude can flat out play. He is the main reason that Pitt is still in the tournament. People act like just because you are 1 inch undersized you can’t play at a high level, 6’7″ is good enough for me at the 3. Like I said before he can probably be a Danny Granger type that doesn’t shoot as well.

deuce4offHaha, NBA GM’s care guy…..nbadraft.net has his comparison correct to Joey Graham, Graham’s proven himself on the NBA level also huh? This guy’s game won’t translate to the NBA and will be around the 6th/7th SF drafted this year. SF’s I would easily take over Young: Earl Clark, Al Aminu, Terrence Williams, James Johnson, Damion James, Omri Casspi.

michaelds911ParticipantThats why most GM’s get fired as well lol, by making picks simply off of potential and not off of if the guy can play ball or not. And once again, he is nowhere near as bulky as Joey Graham, more athletic, and can shoot better even if it is ugly.

edoom06ParticipantFirst, he is not undersized for an NBA small forward, he is probably a legit 6’7″ with long arms if that’s undersized then you should take Terrence Williams and Damion James off your list because neither one of those guys are bigger than young. Athleticism thwarted in the NBA? If his athleticism isnt efficient enough for the NBA then you can take Clark, Aminu, Johnson, James and Casspi off your list because they are not BETTER run/jump athletes than Young. With his SIZE and ATHLETICISM and his ability to play solid man defense out on the floor he definetly has an NBA future. So yeah CPRIZZ young is that dude

errolt12I can see that there are a lot of people doubting sam young’s abilities as a player. Peope are saying he’s 2 short and he doesnt do this or do that. People said Charles barkley was 2 small, they said larry bird was 2 slow, the said dwayne wade wasnt a pg or a sg and he doesnt have a real position. Wat the fuck does it matter wat size or wat u can or cant do. If on the court u get the job done at the end of the day all doubters will be proved wrong. Sam Young gets the job done and does it in a variety of ways. He plays out of position for a pittsburgh team and still gets the job done. Honestly i think he could be a steal in the draft if a team gets him in the 2nd round or LATE first round. this guy reminds of a playground guy. The guy may only be 6 foot 2 or 6 foot 1 but he is the most dominant player on the court and everyone is afraid of him. He can bang down low with guys bigger than him, he occasionaly shoots the three, and he plays good defense. Thats wat sam young is to me

The8thDeadlySinParticipant6’1 or 6’2… You shouldn’t defend young’s case is you don’t even know he is at least 6’6. That’s was a good arguement faulted by a couple stupid statements.
