Shooting translates, and Sean Armand can shoot. Iona’s 6’5” senior marksman has made a name for himself over the past 4 years as one of the best shooters in the country. In fact, his 43% career mark from downtown is first in MAAC history, and he’s hit three or more long range shots in a game 18 times this season.

A 17.6 ppg scorer this year and an experienced player who dropped 17 on Ohio State last year in the NCAA tournament, Armand has a definate role in the NBA as shooting spark reserve, and unlike many of his peers looking to play a similar role, Armand is a strudily built 6’5” and can physically matchup with shooting guards.

With the NCAA tournament rolling around and the Gaels most likely taking the MAAC tournament and winning a brith, he’s a guy to keep an eye on in the tournament, and then the Portsmouth. He has nice size, can fill a role in the pros, is a lights out shooter, and could be another guy who could be in play in the late 2nd round with a strong couple months.
