birdman1113ParticipantWho could be the biggest second round steal in the draft, like a Manu Ginobli or Monta ellis?

DeRozanfan11I can see Dionte Christmas becoming a Michael Redd.

cheesepillowParticipantOn the right team, I think he can develop into a solid starter after a few years.
Personally, I hope the Jazz gets him and have him come off the bench.

ZKParticipantA great shooter (all time in WVU history), the star on a very Good West virginia team last year, and a lot more athletic than people think. I think he has a long career as a sixth man type player.

gatorheelsParticipantI really don’t see any second round steals this year. I think there could be some good role players but no starters. Except for the international players. I think the 2nd round this year will be filled with International players. I think a few of them will end up being starters a few years down the road. So if there is such thing as a steal it will be a from a player coming from overseas.

spokomptonkdubParticipantjosh heytvelt is a big body who can spread the floor with his shooting ability. i have a feeling he will contribute to the right team next year

eprizzle14ParticipantDante Cunningham, Derrick Brown, Dajuan Summers. Maybe not quite second rounders but I like these guys transitioning into prototipical NBA 3’s and there too low IMO. They all measured GREAT

kotyParticipantout of all them, i think Casspi could develop into a solid player

carter3ParticipantI really like DeMarre Carroll and Leo Lyons in the second round. I see Carroll as a real high energy guy and a good defender kind of like LR Mbah a Moute last year. I also really like Curtis Jerrells and Jerel McNeal. McNeal is a good shooter but is small and Jerrells is very quick. None of these guys are going to be allstar caliber but could be really good roll players.
Also, what about Goran Suton? I haven’t heard much of him since he dominated in the tournament. I don’t understand why he isn’t projected in the second round of any mock drafts. He averaged 13 points and 8.8 rebound in the 6 NCAA games leading up to the championship against competition like Taj Gibson, Cole Aldrich, Hasheem Thabeet, and Tyler Hansbrough.

bunka24ParticipantI don’t think there is 2nd rounder in the draft this year that will have the kind of impact that Manu or Monte have had, but I think there are quite a few players who can play solid roles for teams. Toney Douglas can be a spark plug off the bench for someone and also be a terrific defender on the perimeter. Paul Harris may not even get drafted, but if he can develop an outside shot he could be a great defender/energy guy off the bench for someone. Dionte Christmas was mentioned and he could be some instant offense for someone. Danny Green and Jeff Pendergraph could also be significant contributors for teams. Rodrique Beaubois has the tools to be a starting pg in the league although I don’t think he ever will.

tac_bluesI’m not sure he will end up as big as names that you mentioned, birdman, but I really like Luke Harangody. I don’t understand why he doesn’t have a higher stock. He even measured taller than DuJuan Blair and yet Blair is probably going to go in the lottery. I think Luke can be a decent NBA PF, in the mould of the other smaller guts such as Haslem, Millsap, Powe, Bass etc.
