Andrew Bynum is the new toy the 76ers can’t wait to play with. Tuesday at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, new Sixers swingman Dorell Wright couldn’t contain himself when asked about Bynum and how he would help both his game and the team as a whole. … [Said Wright:] "He’s going to need two defenders to stop him. I would say that he’s the best big man in the NBA right now, hands down. He’s a guy who can give you baskets, and executes with his back to the basket; a guy who makes free throws at 7 feet tall. So you just have to respect the fact that guys have to double him and we have guys around the perimeter who can knock down open shots, and you have to get out there to us. I’m really looking forward to playing with him."

I’m also excited to see how Bynum performs as the 1st option….The 76’ers did a great job of putting good shooters around him like Wright & Jason Richardson…But i still feel their roster is unsettled….And how far they go will depend on Bynum and the coaching skills of Doug Collins….

Of course we are the whole city is abuzz about this team because of Bynum and also Holiday and. Turner. Also Thad Young and Spencer Hawes both came back to town jacked. Id estimate Thad and Hawes both added atleast 10 pounds of muscle in the summer.

The Sixers are gonna go as far as Holiday and Turner develop in reality because after an eventful summer that landed a slew of athletic 3 point snipers and the conferences best big man the Sixers are left with only 2 players capable of handling the ball and making plays on offense and that’s Turner and Holiday. Last year the Sixers had Lou Williams and Iggy doing a majority of the playmaking and finally the torch has been passed.

Turner will start at SF and fill the same point forward role that earned Iggy his first All Star nod and. offense Turner is more then capable of picking up thaf load and adding to it. Turner is more of a natural scorer then Iggy who just has a bigger offensive arsenal then Iggy. Turner can post you up and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He’s also one of the best rebounding wings possibly ever. Seriously Turners rebounding rate is the stuff of legends. ET should be one of the finalists for MIP this year with Sixers success and his ability to fill up a stat sheet.

Holiday only needs to add a fe more points and assists per game and continue to shoot it well from deep while playing lockdown perimeter defense to have a great year. Holiday should be able to avg. 17 n 7 this year while shooting close to 40% from 3.
