Anybody think the sixers will trade up to maybe 7 and get Golden States pick. I’ve read online that they have talked to Andre Drummond and I think that would be the best pick for them. Obviously they got to trade Iggy and I’m fine with that and I think the front office is fine with that as well. Anybody see this as a realistic possibility?

Realistically I don’t see this happening because this could all backfire if Drummond is not available.  To much risk to trade away your all star.

That’s why you do the trade on draft night, if he’s available.

Are the 76ers really trying to trade Iggy or is this just teams and bloggers fishing in the dark? If I’m Philly I’m keeping Iggy.  He’s the perfect fit in Philly as far as I’m concerned. What’s wrong with Jrue, Turner and Iggy at the 123? True there’s no space making bomber in that trio but I think it could work personally, and nobody said they had to stop working on their jumpshots. Iggy’s a team guy and the type of player good teams have on the roster. Philly should go Big in the draft and keep they’re young team together and let them continue developing. Evan Turner has the makings of a B.Roy type of go to guy, I think Jrue Holiday is a really good young guard Thad and Lou brings it off the wood… I kinda like Philly. But they are missing a legitimate post threat and a paint protector. If you do trade Iggy for the 7th pick who says Drummond is even there at 7? Apparently Portland is in love with him at 6. So you trade Iggy miss your prize and now who do they pick? Seriously who they do pick or do they trade again and move back out of the early lottery? It just seems goofy for them to trade banking on Drummond still being there.

That’s why you make the trade on draft night when it’s Golden State’s pick.  If that’s the trade they want to make and Drummond is available, then they pull the trigger.  They aren’t going to make the trade before the draft, crossing their fingers hoping he’s available.

Drummond has everything you want in a big man. It will be his fault if he does not produce because he has it all, he just got to work to prove everybody he has that elite talent. I say the sixers do whatever to get him because they can bring the best out of young players at times and if they can get what scouts say he can offer, that trade will be amazing.

Nah Blazers pick him at 6 and trade up from 11 to 8 and get their other guy Lillard.
