the I in winParticipantIt depends on the team. If a veteran team like the celtics were going to try this i would think it would be brilliant because they bring in youth on the wing while building for the future. they could also play turner at the point and stop this crap where they try to find a back up point every year (cassell, marbury, robinson).
I think the bulls should jump on this. If they had turner and rose lebron would have an easy scoring.

JazzinSLCParticipantTo take that Elton Brand contract on for the next three years. He would account for about 1/4 of your entire payroll every season for the duration of his deal.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantThe Sixers will trade the Number 2 pick to the T’Wolve’s for the 4th/16th and 23rd picks…Iggy and Big Al may be in play..Sixers will offer Sammy In place of Iggy and the Wolves say no…the 3rd draft pick may be a sticking point…
If Iggy and Big Al are included the 23rd pick gets taken out the deal…the #2 for the 4th and 16th are good deal but the Sixers will reach for the 23rd as well…Cousin’s is the Target at 4 if this deal is made…a guard like Henry is their 2nd target in mid first/late lottery/ a pick or two in the middle first would allow them to draft another big or scorer on the wing…
Iggy and Jason Smith may be dealt to the Blazers for Camby/Fernandez and the 23rd pick
The mission for the Sixers is to add as many young players without touching their true Core of JRue/Thad/Speights/Brand(more cause their stuck with him) Sammy, Kapono and Green will give them cap relief next year…D CUz at 4..X Man at 16…a player in mid first that could contribute this year and down the road..Camby Man and Rudy give us two solid guys for Iggy …Camby may/will start over Sammy..and Rudy may start over X-or be 6th man in Philly…L.Will is good young scoring point and may be traded with the # 2 pick or Iggy or another team for a mid to late first rounder(Celtics)

Charlie SheenParticipantThe Bulls should jump on it Turner/Rose in the backcourt would be nice if Turner develops an outside shot and if they have to take Brand then hey Pick and Pop Rose and Brand that would be nice but what are they giving up to get that pick Deng and his expiring deal and maybe the #17 pick

M-DYMESParticipantYou think Deng and the 17th pick gets you the 2nd pick and Elton Brand (no matter how bad the contract)? I really disagree. Why would they want Deng, SF is the last thing they need. Basically they would be giving up the 2nd overall pick to move down to 17th, all to just get rid of Brand’s contract and take on yet another SF.

Charlie SheenParticipantI didnt say it would get them the 2nd pick and Brand but what else does Chicago have to offer………Hinrich no, they have Lou Williams…..Taj Gibson NO they have Speights………………James Johnson Hell No………they have Thaddeus Young……………Derrick Rose come on now what else do they have to offer……………..so as soon as you figure it out let me no since you wanna jump on me next time think that way I dont have to make you look foolish………………toodles

Charlie SheenParticipantOk I said what are they gonna give up as in they really dont have much to offer Philly you make it seem as if I think Deng and 17 is enough any sports fan knows that isnt and as for your points I can care less how many you have we dont win anything and you did try to minus me multiple times but i think we know whose a child and whos a man

M-DYMESParticipantYea u be “The Kid”. And I don’t attempt to take away multiple points. I try to avoid taking points away because my macbook’s trackpad tends to at least double click each time I hit it. Sorry if it was me but I honestly don’t think I even took points away from your post.
As far as the real discussion, I think Deng and 17th pick while taking on Brands contract might be worth it to some teams with a SF need, the Sixers are overloaded at SF (and SF/SG type players), which is pretty much the reason they might not desire Turner as much from the get go.
By the way, if your going to question manhood based off something as insignificant as points, you seriously need to consider your own. Lets just drop this shit now cuz I never have had a problem with you b4 and I don’t wanna be getting into internet wars here. Your cool with me as far as I am concerned. We just have a difference of opinion, which is the sole purpose of this site. To express your basketball opinions.
