Yesterday Philly Worked out Tyler Zeller, John Henson, Terrence Jones, Perry Jones, Andrew Nicholson, and Arnett Moultie.

All I heard is that they worked out and I watched their after workout interview videos on Sixers.com. Sixers didn’t put much into the interviews just about 2 to 3 min each video.

However did anyone hear any news on them, if anyone stood out? who did bad? just any info would be good to hear.

I figue they trade up around 8 and get Terrence Ross @ 8. The trade with Iggy for 8, Ed Davis, and Jose Calderon. I’m crossing my figues maybe 60-40% chance it happens.

Their 15th pick I would like to see them get anyone who can work the pick n roll or pick n pop the best. Looking at Perry Jones, Arnett Moultie, and Terrence Jones to be the top 3 on my wish list, but not in that order, I really don’t have a preference. I trust they will pick the best player for Doug Collins system.

I dont think that would work out very well for Philly, Iggy is arguably there best facilitator and defender, I wouldnt give that up for a under achiever in Davis and a guy on the downward end of his career in Calderon. And Terrence Ross would not make up for the defiencies Philly would have without Iggy. There isn’t any one in this draft that can do what Iggy does apart from maybe a Royce White, and he will most likely be on the board at 15 so they would be able to look at much better options for Iggy

Terrance Ross would be selected at 15, not 8.  I watched a lot of Washington last year and the guy just disappeared too often during games to be selected in the top 10. If we trade up to 7 or 8 it will most likely be to select a guy like John Henson or Perry Jones.

The Calderon, Davis, and 8 for Iggy trade gets rejected imo.  We have no need to take on Jose Calderon and his big contract.  Now if Jose is shipped to another team in a 3 way deal and we can add another piece/pick, count me in.

Both Henson and PJ3 could be around at 15 so trading up to get one of them doesn’t make sense. It is likely that Ross, Rivers, Waiters and Lamb will all be gone by that point so if the Sixers want a SG they will most likely need to make a trade. If they don’t they risk losing Lou Williams and Jodie Meeks in free agency and lose a lot of their backcourt depth that has made them dangerous the last couple years. The Sixers may have to take a step back to take two steps forward and that could start by trading IGGY on draft night.
