So Andray Blatche had some interesting things to say via Twitter...
he wasnt talking to you, he was referring to the guy who said "andre being andre" clearly misspelling his name (not that it matters, just wanted to clarify)
Out of shape, lazy people need to help themselves first. What did he expect, for people to do the work for him? He has only himself to blame.
Dang I did not realize people used maroon. Also despite him coming straight out of college, there are a lot of people who talk like that on twitter that are older than him and possibly college graduates. A person's speech on twitter is hardly grounds for calling him a moron or maroon. Also if they threw him under the bus, why should he be wrong to blast them. I mean I may want to try to take the high road but I can understand how he feels. I had some people screw me over like that in the military.
Washington Wizards as a organization was screwy so why put the blame on just one person.
He is gone now and they still look bad. He is obvious he was not the only issue.
"they threw him under the bus, why should he be wrong to blast them"
I respect that, but some type of respect level has to come into play if venting is an option. I personally don't know what he went through in DC and what the organization put him through, but if you have nothing nice to say, either say it discretely or don't say it at all. Also, when it comes to personal matters such as weight issue is a subject of blame, point it at yourself. It's not like he didn't have the financial resources to receive personal help for his issues.
At no point am I am saying that Andray is or isn't very bright. I am just saying his tweets are not enough evidence of his lack of intelligence.
Also most of his actions that were legit were just a young person doing foolish things and since no one on this earth can say they did not do stupid stuff when they were young then that is not a solid argument against him.
Being young and rich can put you in more situation where you could very well be doing something dumb.
As a basketball player he is talented but has not shown a high level of basketball IQ but that could also be because he had terrible coaches as well so only time will tell if he will improve on that with a better coach and a winning team.
Its one thing to have a disorder and complain about not receiving the proper treatment (Royce White).
Its another thing to be fat, out of shape, and in a career where youre being paid millions of dollars to play ball. If those dollars arent enough to get on a treadmill, run suicides, or lift weights, then its time to find a new line of work.
His radio interview after he tweeted that was even worse. He kept saying the Wizards as a whole didn't have his back when he was sideline for being out of shape. What were they suppose to say?
"Well, Blatche came into the season out of shape again but this time it was worse because of the lockout". I think they did him a favor for not saying to much about it.
I'm a die-hard Wizards fan, and Andray Blatche is a POS! I went to the home opener last year against the Nets, and right before the game there was an announcement made by the team captain that went along the lines of this. "This is your team captain Andray Blatche and I just wanted to say a few words to you fans. Thank you for supporting us during a rough season, and we are looking forward towards having a successful year." My friend and I bursted out laughing when we heard his speech.
Blatche was basically given the reins to the team last year. He was (somehow) the captain, the number one option on offense, and had just come off of a career year after signing an undeserved extension. For him to say that no one helped him in the in the organization is ridiculous, because he was given EVERYTHING the Washington Wizards organization had to give.

"@drayblatche
Idc wat a wiz fan say yes I was outta shape Ill give yal that but no body n that organization tried to help me with"
"@drayblatche
Feels good to be part of a winning organization"
1. He's 26 and spelling like a teenager. Enough said.
2. I'm happy for the kid. he's finally a part of a franchise that is attentive to him and will not tolerate foolishness, but I guess old habits don't die. He had no reason to blast the organization that DRAFTED him and gave him the opportunity to showcase his skills long enough for a team like the Brooklyn Nets to give you a second chance. What a maroon.
