lalailaParticipanton these freshmen class?..
Harrison Barnes-he has too much potential not to be top5 but when we are talking about top pick i need better debut than 14 4 2
Perry Jones- he is this year’s Favors for me , he gained mass a looks like a legit PF and 11pts with 8boards and 2blocks shows it.. adding his versatility and 4assists it’s enough for me.
Jarred Sullinger- his 19&14 in limited minutes and Love’s 30-30 game at same night, maybe people will start to realise that he has some NBA potential.
Terrence Jones- just wow…and his
C.J. Leslie- really played better than i thought, he doesn’t looks like a guy who cab out 20 every night for me.
Brandon Knight- he played well and i think he will play even better.
what is your first impression?

delfamParticipantTobias Harris was very impressive for Tennessee in limited minutes, he can do a little bit of everything, still not sure if he’s a SF or a PF, kinda reminds me of Beasley.

jeff416ParticipantI only got to watch the Memphis game and parts of the UNC and Kentucky games, but from what I saw
Barnes played good not great
Knight and Jones both impressed me.
Barton was playing injured so I really couldn’t judge him, and Jackson had a few good moments but just played ok. Also Antonio Barton(Will’s brother) and Chris Crawford both played very good, even though neither of them are draft prospects this year.

Toronto16ParticipantPerry Jones runs the floor like a guard and he can handle and pass. This guy has a tremendous amout of potential, it’s ridiculous.

joecheck88Participanti just hope perry jones uses his guard like skills but as a power forward. i think he can be a great power forward in a garnett like mold. think 22,12,3,2 and 2 in his prime years in the nba. he will need to get stronger but he has almost every tool needed. he just needs that drive and passion.
i think barnes did well enough. ive never thought him to be a kobe like player(which i have seen that on this site). i think he can be a joe johnson type player with his size. i dont see him scoring 20ppg at unc. i see 15,5, and 3 for him this year(which is great for a freshman).

gregoden08ParticipantHad a solid game. He didn’t turn the ball over at all and shot a very good %. I expect him to have very good outings against the top teams (Duke etc) when he really needs to carry the team. Perry played good, but he had 7 turnovers. Terrence (my boy) played great and he could’ve easily had over 30 if he didn’t shoot so bad from the line (something that will obviously improve). Sullinger dominated, and he will continue to for the rest of the season.

HitsterParticipantSullinger looked impressive and he could have a similar year to what K-Love had in 2007/08 but I see Sullinger as perhaps a better defensive player than Love long term ( not maybe statistically but intangibles wise by keeping the opposition scoring down etc) whilst Love will surely always have the edge on offence.
