    Hello everyone,

Longtime member here, but more of a reader than a poster.  This year I have decided to play fantasy basketball for the very first time.  I wasn’t to aware of the rules, and originally thought that you kept the same lineup for the entire week.  So in drafting, I have made some crucial mistakes by picking up injured players late in the draft.  This decision has obviously used up valuable space on my bench.  My injured players are Love (IR), Wall,  Amare, and Rubio.  Of the latter three, who should I trade?  Looking for any and all feedback.

Secondly,  is it important to minimize the amount of teammates on your squad?  I understand that it could help to diversify so all your players can play each week. But then again, each player generally plays 3-4 games. Thoughts?

Third, is it a good strategy to have two disposable players to maximize your seven acquisitions each week?  This would maximize playing time, but is this how it really works?  My league is 10 teams, so there are good FA, but our lineups are also pretty solid.

Here is my team, for trade ideas..

    Curry

    Harden

    George

    Hickson

    Hibbert

    Lillard

    W. Matthews

    Kaman

    Mullens

    Asik

    Roy

Ja. Crawford… plus the four injured

    All thoughts/ideas are welcome

if it is a keeper league or not, which i will be guessing is not. because rubio is out for so long and it isnt a keeper league he wont have much value in trades. however, with amare and wall they are big name players that some ppl might want or like even though they dont have the greatest fantasy value this year. from what it looks, you have quite a decent backcourt…you should be weary about curry and his injuries but because you have crawford and lillard to back up i would say trade wall…maybe for a good sf/pf or even a center who can rb the ball better than hibbert. solid team nonetheless.
