kaceyParticipantLithuania is giving Spain a good game. Is anyone watching this on NBAtv? I don’t know if this is recorded or not, but its a great game. I’d love to see Spain drop to 1-2.

fgrrghgParticipantwow, rudy and rubio played like shit.. gasol couldn’t hit a free throw when it mattered either. Spain is in some trouble. Might come down to the last group game against canada to see who gets that fourth spot

ghettosermonParticipant^^^ Yup Rubio at this point is better suited to come off the bench for the national team. He’s not enough of a leader and consistent of a player for now. Also wouldn’t hurt if Pau were playing. Still though with the talent and experience together as a team they shouldn’t be 1-2.

kaceyParticipantAnyone know why this announcer is flying solo? He commentates the game like a kid that dreams of one day being a commentator. You know what I’m saying?
But I guess if you are commentating by yourself you have to provide the play-by-play and the color altogether. He pulls it off. Its better than hearing “time and time again.”

kaceyParticipantSpain has to play a Canadian team that just barely lost to France. So this won’t be a cake walk either. Spain has definitely been the most disappointing so far. As another guy mentioned, with the experience and depth on this squad, they shouldn’t be 1-2. Rubio has yet to impress me. If an NBA team wants him, I would be trying pull a deal off while the stock is low. I’m sure Kahn doesn’t look at it that way.

American_BallerParticipantPete Mikeal and Terrance Morris are way better that Ricky Rubio, they averaged more points last season. I can’t believe Euro fans won’t admit it

knicksfan7ParticipantI just finished watching the replay of Spain-Lithuania, and I must say that Spain has zero killer instinct. Ricky Rubio is afraid to shoot the ball, it’s one thing to be a pass first Point Guard, but he doesn’t even shoot when he is open. He is always deferring the ball. Spain let Lithuania get back into this game. I think Lithuania went on a 32-12 run to end the game. Now that is pathetic on Spain’s part. Spain fell in love with the outside shot instead of penetrating and giving the ball off to Gasol.

PureshooterParticipantI only watched highlights, but Spain definitely seemed disorganized at certain points in the game, such as the inbounds pass off of Rubio’s back for a layup and the turnover at the end that kept them from even getting a 3 to tie.
