!!!! STEPEHEN CURRY AND LESTER HUDSON!!!! SO UNDERRATED ON DRAFT BOARDS !!!
Curry top 3? No teams needs a scoring guard like him. Memphis has Mayo. OKC has Westbrook. Clippers want Blake. He isn't top 3. Sorry, teams will not take him over Rubio who is a pure Point Guard not like Curry who just made the transition. Whoever gets him will slide him to the 2 guard and have to play small.
As rocketfan said, he isn't top 3 based on team needs or even what he has to offer. Sure he is good, but not Top 3.
The earliest may be 6th with T-wolves if they pass on DeRozan for whatever reason. But, being picked 8th by the Knicks seems right.
I think what he is saying is Curry will be a top 3 talent and I can't disagree with him. I think people overlook a players ability. Curry has a decent enough vision to run point in this league. He may not be a Chris Paul but who is. He has good basketball IQ and good court vision. That is all he needs. He had to score on his team because number one he can shoot really good and he was all they had for the most part. I have seen him make plays that not many guards in the NBA can make and he will be playing with better finishers. He will be a steal at 8 to the Knicks. Everything I see about this kid says star player maybe not athlete but all nba players are not just super athletes. He will automatically raise whatever team he is on perimeter shooting and basketball IQ. You know he wont get in trouble because he is used to be around the NBA and that lifestyle. He may be small but so was Durant. In a year and some change he will have a NBA body or NBA strength.
Lester Hudson I heard is nice too but I need to do some checking up on him for myself
I've watched some games of Hudson and read many articles recently about his skill set in workouts. I read that he's legitimately 6'2"-6'2 1/2" barefoot. The guy has a great chiseled physique. Has been shooting the lights out in workouts. I'm beginning to feel that there isn't really a dropoff in talent when talking about point guards such as Maynor, Flynn, Teague, and Lawson. I'm really looking forward to that June 12th Group workout featuring Teague, Calathes, Collison, Maynor, A.J. Price, and of course, Lester Hudson. I really believe from what I've gathered that Hudson will be able to at least hold his own, if not dominate these frail little point guards. I'm telling you guys, this workout is going to determine Picks 10- 40 because a lot can change when all these players are going at each other.
I like Lester Hudson and hope he succeeds. He does have a chiselled physique, is a good defender and shooter, and has raised himself up from a difficult background.
However, the main reason he is not ranked more highly is that he will be 25 years old this summer. He does not have much upside. Add that to the lack of quality opposition he has faced, and the fact that he will have to change his game to become more of a distributer and full time PG to make it in the NBA, and the odds are stacked against him: he's a 2nd rounder at best.

I was reading several articles about lester hudson doing very well in all his works plus passing every challenge they put in front of him GM Chris Wallace said him and Curry are some of the best he has paid attention as well as Bobcats Scout Scott Howard but the public and draft boards dont wanna give them the credit they deserve i think curry can be top 3 and Hudson can be the George Hill of this years draft!!! People better wake up and recognize the real ballers and quit looking at programs and player names
