 I’m not sure whats the point you are trying to make? NO ONE here was raving about Stillman White or has them in a mock draft. And NO ONE expeceted Stillman White to be starting in the tourney. It just happened. Marshall got hurt, can’t play, and UNC needs to insert a PG in the line-up. They can’t do nothing about it so why is this even a topic? I mean, you can say he sucks. But I never knew his 5 minutes per game and .8 ppg were so important to the Tar Heels success.

I was just wondering how this guy got a scholarship from a school like UNC. They are about to lose to Kansas because their PG is hurt and this is their best solution? That’s very relevant to the game and wondering who the worst UNC player of all time is relevant to basketball. Why do you +1 all your posts?

First I point out that James McAdoo is a disappointment, then make a simple observation UNC recruited one of the most pathetic looking players I’ve seen in the ACC the past 10 years. Stilman White hasnt played that poorly. He’s playing tentatively because he has no experience and is only a freshman. And for why hes on the team, he’s from the area and probably has a good GPA

 Okay, I see that point now. I’m not sure why but if I have to take a guess, maybe he made a lasting impression on Roy Williams with something. Maybe he he hustled his ass off, maybe he has great grades, or maybe he’s just filling up roster space since they couldn’t find another PG. But whatever the reason is, he worked hard enough and got a spot on the roster so I can’t take that away from him. It’s damn near impossible to make a D1 roster so even though I don’t know the exact reason, he must have impressed someone important down the line.

Also, I did not +1 my post. I’m pretty well liked on here and my posts do get some laughs/likes every once in a while. Maybe someone liked what I said lol

According to ESPN recruiting report, he will be going on a two year mormon mission starting next year and was also recruited heavily by UNC-Wilmington and BYU. I’m not sure if when his mission is done he will go back to UNC .

None could have even thought that Stilman White will get PT in NCAA tournament. Strickland’s and  McDonald’s injuries really messed the things with secondary point guard, so when Marshal got injured we got into real trouble. I think you know it very well so I don’t know why were you asking what White is doing in UNC. He was taken because of his good Gpa and that Roy Williams would have many players in practices.

If I remember right he is supposed to go to Africa with Missionary mission.

White had 6 assists and 0 turnovers against Ohio.  It’s halftime against Kansas and he already has 6 assists.

He doesn’t seem bad at all, he plays to Roy’s offense very well, and the only issue is his size.  Tyshawn Taylor is making jump shots over his head lol.

Even if I weren’t UNC’ fan I would be very happy about White. He didn’t expected anything before the season except few minutes a game when the lead is big and practicing with a bunch of NBA players.

And here he UNC’s starting point guard playing against Kansas when the win means Final Four. That’s incredible regardless what college player he is.

Kansas guards really tried to go at him but after the first half he has 4 points 6 asissts 2 boards and 0 turnovers. Yes, 0 turnovers.

Hopefully , we will win this game and Kendall will be ready to play in Final Four.

0 turnovers in over 40 minutes in the last 2 games. Not to mention he has played against 2 of the best PG’s in the nation I. DJ Cooper and Tyshawn Taylor. He’s not bad at all

 he doesn’t do anything bad….but he doesn’t CREATE anything either I think that’s the point he’s trying to make….plus he’s SCARED to shoot out there…..but with that said he’s playing within himself and not doing anything too drastic which is why he doesn’t turn the ball over….with him being a freshman with little experience this is probably what he SHOULD do though….he’s not gonna win them the game, so he’s out there trying not to LOSE them the game….

 if F Da Po knew anything about UNC basketball he would know that the only reason White is in a UNC uniform is because Larry Drew up and left the team last year when all the top PG’s had commited to schools.  The only reason he is playing now is because Marshall, Strickland and McDonald (3 who would play PG above him) are all injured.  

 

He is doing fine considering the pressure put on the 2 star recruit in this game.  This post needs to be deleted honestly.

I do think that if he was playing a good amount of minutes with consistency he wouldn’t be afraid to shoot. Just when you have little minutes to show what you can it’s really hard to get into the rhythm.

Yes, last few games he gets minutes but just imagine yourself in his place.. he must be really really strong mentally to not break up.

And he was offered scholarship by BYU and Utah so he is really not that bad player, he is just a freshman after all and not one of those one-and-done’s..

Once again, I make an accurate prediction and I’m negged like crazy. Stillman White did about as good as he could do. That being said, he’s just not talented enough to play PG in an elite 8 game. Maybe he’s not the worst player ever, but he’s pretty much a non factor.

Henson was the one coughing up the ball. Not White. White dint even try to pretend like he was going to shoot the ball, but I think that was more Roy William’s plan and not entirely White’s. Could he have been rattled? Maybe, it was almost a home game for the Jayhawks.

 7 assists and 0 turnovers in an Elite 8 game.  He’s got a lot of good games ahead of him, he obviously had no confidence in his outside shot, but at the same times knows his place in the offense playing with a handful of NBAers.  

He’s 18 years old 6′ 160 lbs and playing in the biggest game of his life.  I think he played pretty well.
