aamir543ParticipantBetween games 1 and 2 of the finals, I was watching this ESPN segment about how Miami fans start throwing up the towels whenever they think they have won the game. I remember thinking to myself that one of these days, those idiots are going to start celebarating and tossing those falgs/towels up in the air, and then they are going to end up losing. Now I didn’t think it would happen so soon, but those people need to wait till the buzzer sounds, because if they continue to be abnoxious like that, we are going to see a repeat of game 2 sometime in this decade. Also, I think the Mavs are the only team in the NBA that wants it more than Lebron and co. I think the Mavs will will tehmselves to a title, because Dirk and Kidd know this is their last chance. By the way, who threw away the key to Mark Cuban mouth?

llperezWho cares if the fans throw towels, they’re just celebrating. I seriously doubt thy are gonna be the reason their team blows leads. And I think the mavs and heat are the two best teams and rightfully playing for the ring. But who knows who wants the ring the most. Maybe the grizzlies or the blazers or the celtics wanted it more but just went good enough. It’s easy to wait until the NBA finals and say these are the 2 teams that wanted it the most

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantI’m fine with Miami fans who actually live in Miami. But when I see Miami fans at a Sacramento game, I wanna punch them in the face so bad. Stupid bandwagon fans.

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantSame thing when I see Laker fans at a Nets game.

MagikKnickParticipantThe Mark Cuban part is soo true, normally you hear his mouth running off during the playoffs, and this year hes been a bit silent, maybe David Stern put a lid on it lol, and him being quiet, is probably why the team is doing so good, no distractions…

HitsterParticipantLots of teams in any sport get bandwagon fans, how many fans do the Lakers have outside of LA for example and there is always the joke that in football no Manchester United fans actually come from Manchester.
If the Heat fans started celebrating before game 2 was won then that is irony and helps make this year’s final the best NBA story in recent years.

Chilbert arenasParticipantLakers fans everywhere, they’re like Steelers fans. I just hate when celebrities adopt teams because it’s fashionable. Like Drake being a Heat fan even though he’s from Toronto. I get he’s friends with Lebron it’s just annoying.

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantThere’s Laker fans everywhere just because they won back to back championships. And they always brag about it. It plsses me off

MagikKnickParticipantYeah, unfortunately I am witnessing it happen to the Knicks right now..
I’ve been a fan since the turmoil days began when we straight up sucked, i’ve been loyal as hell as a fan….and now the Knicks are getting better..theyre are bandwagons all over the place…like, where the hell were you when Jamaul Crawford was launching up 28-footers?

Stojakovicfor3Participant@MagikKnick Exactly

aamir543Participant@MagicKnick, you are absolutely right. Living in San francisco, I felt the same way with the giants last October. All of a sudden everyone is a fan and buy sjerseys and stuff and act like they care. Its like, where were you when Bengie Molina was our power hitter. (Correction Magic Knick, I am a Warriors fan, and I believe that Crawford was chucking 31 footers.)

torontoraptors10ParticipantI went to the Miami Heat game in Toronto this February and some "cool" highschool kids show up in a LBJ Heat Jersey and Bosh Heat Jersey to the game and all these Raptors fans’ were like "If I see you at the ACC (Air Canada Centre) I’m going to throw my drink at you." Some guy also was like, "Look at the d***riders."
I’m okay with Heat fans in Miami but every where else they are as annoying as f*** because when the Heat are winning they claim they know basketball so much but when they’re losing, they are no where to be found.

apb540ParticipantDavid Stern did shut him up by doing what he did to the 2006 Finals. As the dude with 11 rings said, he had to learn the "pecking order."

aamir543ParticipantYeah, there was this one guy at school, who is sooooooooo anoying. Everytime the Heat win, he brags and says they are going to win the championship. Everytime they lose, he doesn’t want to hear anything, and says the refs cheated them, and that Erik spolstra should be fired, and that it is all the coaches fault. One day some of us guys were really irritated, so when the Heat lost 5 straight some point in the season, we start chanting "overated". Then he gets all offended and starts ranting about how they are actually underated. I agree the Heat are very talented, but people like that piss me off.

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantI’m in Sac too and I already hated Giants fans, but now it’s ridiculous. FB posts every time the Giants win or lose, and I hear how Posey is the greatest player ever. I saw an ex of mine wearing a Heat jersey a couple days ago and I was like oh you’re a Heat fan now? She said she’s always been. I’ve seen her FB posts about the Giants and I remember a pic of her in a Packers jersey around the Super Bowl. When we dated (only a year ago) she hated baseball, and liked the Kings and Dolphins.
The teams people like have little effect on me, but I realized this symbolized exactly why we broke up. She was a fake a$$ b!itch that cared about being popular. That’s fine in high school, but c’mon, you can’t be real if you do that. . .

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantHaha, Stern promised Cuban a 2011 championship if he stfu! !

Chilbert arenasParticipantThere’s Lakers fans everywhere because of their three-peat, they’ve been in every arena since, not just because they won back to back. I don’t know how much they are Lakers fans as much as they are Kobe fans though.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/04/2011 - 11:36am #539964
aamir543ParticipantI agree faction coallition, some guys are crazy to say that Posey is the MVP andthis and that. It is getting out hand

burningfloodParticipantThere’s Lakers fans when the Nets play b/c they’re there to root for the Machine! I mean, they’re waiting for Sasha to feel like dropping 30 points…it’d be historic.
