Maybe this is retarded for both teams but here is an idea…

    Bulls get:

    Landry Fields

    Knicks get:

    Kyle Korver, 2nd round pick.

Why?  The Knicks have drafted a player to eventually replace Fields with Shumpert.  Also, d’Antoni only has 1 pure shooter on his team.  Korver gives them an amazing shooter to compliment Melo and Amare.  The Bulls need a more complete 2 guard.  While Fields isn’t the shooter Korver is or the defender  that Brewer is, he is a more complete player than the other 2.  Fields doesn’t solve the scoring problem for the Bulls but he does make them better..  Could be a starter for them to sign a "gun slinger" SG like Crawford  to come off the bench.

    Whay do you think?

Definitely stupid for New York. Korver is too much of a liabilty on D to ever make much of an impact on a contender. Fields would be a definite upgrade over any of Chicago’s current 2 guards.

Shumpert would start in my opinion.. Korver would just be a sub shooter.

They would basically lose an important trade asset for CP3

The knicks don’t have any trade assets to land CP3 this year.

Imagine all the defense with Amare, Melo, Billups, and Korver on the floor. Good thing it is Mike Dantonis run and gun system. Horrible trade

For the Bulls that would be absolutely ideal. hahaha but HELL NAH would the Knicks ever make that trade. Korver for Fields? Does Landry Fields have a younger brother? Maybe it can be another Pau Gasol-like trade lol

This is not a stupid trade but it’s not a smart trade because of reasons listed below.

Korver has no D and  the Knicks don’t need a nother starter that doesn’t play D.

Fields is a good player but he is not a deadly open treat like Rhamilton or j richarson.

The bulls need a dead on shooter and the Nkicks need D badly.

That is a horrible trade for New York.  Most of the time second round draft picks don’t make much of an impact, and all Korver can do is shoot.  I’m not saying all second round draft picks (Manu Ginobili) but a lot of them don’t pan out.  Fields is a pretty good jump shooter and he plays really solid defense.  Korver doesn’t know how to play defense, he is slow, runs the floor terribly, and above all of that, if he goes into a shooting slump, he’s worthless.  I’m not trying to bag on the guy as he is one of the best shooters I have ever seen, however Fields is so much better and worth a lot more than Kyle Korver is.
