IndianaBasketballParticipantSo you’re looking for another basketball site?
Aaron is presently at his computer pissed looking at this and slamming his fists on the keyboard. Just imagine it.

I bet he gets even more upset when people spell his name wrong.
And to answer OP, there are absolutely no other websites worth checking out. Draft net is the pinnacle of Internet entertainment, even in its current wasteland-esque state.

butidonthavemoney20+ minutes with zero posts on the entire forum. I know it’s past 10:00 PM on a school night, but that’s pretty sad.
Maybe another forum awards show is just the kind of ego-boosting event that will get posters excited again. Is Tongue-Out still around?

mikeyvthedonParticipantSo glad if you are back to stay. Please say it is so. Also, it is awesome that Gus Fring is your avatar. I know you had that Ron Swanson thing up for a long time, but I do not watch "Parks & Rec" (though I have heard it was good). I do, on the other hand, watch Breaking Bad, which is probably my favorite show. I cannot wait for the last season, should be epic. I actually do not mind them ending it, because that way their is much less chance of it being ruined. Still, glad to have you back, money.

butidonthavemoneyPenny, this is actually my old name, but thanks for the compliment.
mikeyv, I can pretty much agree with everything you just said. Particularly the part about Breaking Bad’s bittersweet final 16 episodes. Sustainability is something not a lot of television producers seem to understand. The Office was a great show, but it really fell off around season 3. Breaking Bad has only seemed to get better over time, so hopefully they can go out with a bang.
Gus is almost as awesome as Ron Swanson, and those two shows (along with 30 Rock) are my favorite shows on television at the moment. I highly recommend watching Parks and Recreation if you have Netflix or something.
I stopped posting for a while there, but I never left. Hopefully by the time college basketball starts, everybody else who is missing will be back as well.

I May Be WrongParticipantBUT I DONT HAVE THE MONEY! +50 for the Gus Fring picture. I will never forget that scene from last Sunday.
{Spoiler Alert – Crazy Gus Scene}
I am curious to see where they will go in the final season. Will Hank ever find out about Walter? Jessie and Walt will also conflict, especially with the very last scene the finale from last week. I also think Skylar is still going to make a huge somewhere. I dunno why but I can see her doing something.

butidonthavemoney"BUT I DONT HAVE THE MONEY!"
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Who do I look like? McJerry? (Another Parks and Rec reference.)
I didn’t like that particular scene. It was powerful, but too unrealistic. Since the show is based around the science of chemistry, I’ve always felt a sense of realism with the show and they kind of blew that, solely to give one of the best villains in television history a stylish moment.
That being said, the entire episode was a roller-coaster of emotion. I loved the scene where Gus was sitting in the car, and then the one where he was walking in to meet with Hector. The sense that something epic was about to happen was only amplified by the kick-ass music that was playing behind him.
Aziz Ansari (P&R) tweeted his reaction to a particular moment.

I May Be WrongParticipantOhhh missed the name change there bud. What are you, the Sean Combs aka Puffy aka P-Diddy aka Diddy of NBAdraft? Just messin with you man!
About the scene though, I was a little shocked too but I really didn’t care too much afterwards. It was unique and the whole episode, I was wondering how Walt was going to get Gus? Gus was literally always one step ahead of him and I was thinking maybe Walt would not be able to get him. I do agree with you though, the build up was amazing in that episode.
Quick question for you Money, who do you think is the better actor on the show between Bryan Cranston (Walt) or Aaron Paul (Jesse). Had this been last year, I would easily say Walt. But I tell you what though, this season really opened my eyes for Aaron Paul. He sells his character so well. All the stuff he’s been through at a his age, and I actually was literally feeling bad for him (even though I kept saying its only just a show haha)

aamir543ParticipantLooking at you with that old name is like watching Kobe with the throwbck unis, classic. And 20+ minutes without a post, that’s nothing compared to what I saw THREE times last week, where there was no post for about 40 minutes. Put an end to this David!

They’re both amazing. I like Cranston more (he looks exactly like Gordon Freeman from Half-Life), but won’t bother thinking about who is better. They’ve both reached the level where you can’t imagine anybody possibly performing better than either one of them in their particular roles.
Everything just works well with the show. The acting, story-telling and imagery all rival anything else on television. I find myself getting too excited, and like you, have to stop everything and remind myself that I’m just watching a television show. Can’t wait to see what happens next season.
aamir – That’s just wrong. We used to be such a mighty forum.
