If I’m the Suns I would trade Marcin Gortat to the Blazers, for the 10th pick before draft night. When draft night comes, take Cody Zeller with the 5th pick and take Shabazz Muhammad with the 10th pick. With their 30th pick, I would take a risk, and go out on the limb by drafting Ricardo Ledo. In Cody & Shabazz they would have 2 players once considered to be the #1 pick at one time, for this draft, and in Ledo they have a player once considered a impact freshman, who would be a lottery pick after one season, before his injury. I think those would be great selections for the Suns

Im pretty sure you could get more in return for Gortat than just the 10th pick in this weak draft ijs

Shabazz Muhammad may turn to out to be better than everyone in the draft, you never know…The guy can flat out score and the Suns don’t have a legit go to guy…Cody Zeller, 1 of the Moriris twins, Shabazz, Shannon Brown, Dragic, and Beasley & Dudley on the bench, isn’t bad

I like the idea of Bazz in a Suns uniform, they don’t really have anyone at the 2-guard, and they’ll help him stay healthy throughout his career.

Knew it wouldn’t be long before a topic loosely based on the Suns turned into someone sucking off their training staff. They are not miracle workers. Players who go to the Suns don’t become invincible, I feel people don’t understand this. It’s mind numbingly stupid the amount of praise those guys get. Rant over. Neg me but be warned I’ll go to Phoenix and they can heal me from the pain and I’ll come back to the forum better than ever.

Suns talent is a bad mix of players… they are not much different than the collection of players the Timberwolves had before David Kahn blew them up and changed the whole roster except for K Love.

The Suns will need to do the same thing or be stuck with 28 win seasons for a while.

That wouldn’t be you typical scrappy team for sure. Beaseley would come out and saying what he does prior to camp every year that he’s more responsible now and just wants everyone to give him a chance to prove it… and then he’d take Baz partying for the next month.

They brought in Zeller, McLemore, Oladipo, Bazz, Gobert and Len ( in a boot ) for workouts on Wednesday. Also E.J. Singler and Jarred Breggren were brought in as well

I tried to dig up some info if anyone stood out. I wasn’t able to find much but Hornacek ( of course ) was talking a lot about shooting and he was impressed by McLemore’s overall shot and Zeller’s range. He still wants to run an uptempo system.

I also found out they brought in a few 2nd round prospects the other day, including Grant Garret, Vander Blue, Kenny Kadji, Ryan Evans, Durand Scott, and Scott Wood.

They waited too long, but it’s time to tank like crazy, all about youth, picks and cap, a total rebuilding mode over 2 years not another shitty retooling mode…lost beforehand.
Trying to be a poor man’s magic of the west, targeting that fine top 3 in the next draft.
Like don said, trade gortat when he still has little value on the market(full expiring), blazers or what about the thunder, perk+pick(avoiding amnesty while upgrading offensively, rebounding and foot speed depts).
    Next in line scola…
For the draft, SG’s(brown and johnson are done, the dud’ is not a SG by any stretch of the imagination) and a big(waiting the franchise SF or PF next year), oladipo will be the pick, not necessarily the greatest fit in term of skill set, but it will be him fo sho, then at 30, guys like withey, rice, ledo could be worth it…
