…the Suns are going to loose Amare so i think they should try to sign and trade him to the Magic(need inside scoring) for R.Lewis(will fit in Phx system) and 2010 1st rd pick(suns dont have 1).

    Magic get-Amare
    Suns get-Lewis 2010 1st rd pick

I don’t agree with this trade. I don’t think the magic should abandon their 4 out offense. If dwight howard could hit mid range jumpers maybe then, but with dwight clogging up the lane i see more messy offense for the Magic and the suns will suck if amare is gone. Lewis can’t run a pick and roll with nash. Nice idea but i don’t like it

R.Lewis still has game and in the right system he might start to flourish again. He might be excellant in the open court but he needs to start driving concsistantly again and getting to the line for easy buckets. I dont know if Phx does this though. R.Lewis value is probably at an all time low right now and his contract is widely viewed as an albatros by most casual fans and NBA personel. The first pick you suggested is helpful but I think I would rather take Reddick (S@T) Gortat and a 1st rounder instead of lewis.

Lewis’ contract is the worst in the league. Guy is going to be the 2nd highest paid player in the league after Kobe soon. He is going to be making 23million the last year of his contract. That contract is completely untouchable for ANYONE. There is absolutely no way this trade happens and its probably one of the worst trade ideas iv ever saw

I believe Lewis would average 25+ per game in Phx, he has range out to the 3pt line and they have a starting center in Lopez

dumb trade..if the Suns get rid of Amare then Phoenix will not have a post presence..plus lewis is 1 of the most overrated players in the league..Why not trade Amare for Boozer?

Lewis would do great in Phoenix. Im not saying he isnt good player but there is no way he is worth over 20 million. He would be a good value at 10million. There is no reason to pay a guy 20million a year when you know your arent going to win a championship. Suns might not even make playoffs without Amare

Even with Amare..Phoenix is struggling to matchup with the length of the lakers..Lewis is too soft….they’re be fun to watch..but how much fun will it be when the team is losing?
