Scottoant93ParticipantAlright Im bored and im doing some research for my future career in a survey format so…
Do you drive an/a….
A. Automatic
B. Manual
C. both… if so which do you perfer and why
I know this is a stupid thread but its in offtopic- so the worst it could do is not get any responses, and not disturb the more important threads haha
My answer is I can drive both but I perfer a manual because when i younger i always loved riding with my brother and watching him have complete control over the car was amazing in my mind, automatics are nice and all but i sometimes i feel i get distracted, instead with a manual i feel more focused.
Thanks!

llperezmy first two cars were manual but ihave been driving a automatic for about 8 years now and probably wont ever go back. It is nice to be able to drive both though in case i ever come across a stick shift plus its not very manly to have to tell your buddies you cant drive stick when the situatino arises

Bad DogParticipantStick. I learned how to drive stick when i was 13 and i’ve always prefered it because you have more control over the car. I’ve owned automatics and never really liked them much. I actually converted this Integra i had from an auto to stick when the tranny blew out (auto trannies are not built for racing). Now i drive a Honda S2K with a six speed manual. It’s nice but not as fast as my old Integra was

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantI drive automatic, but i’m learning to drive stick becuase I want to be able to drive both just in case I get into a situation in which I have to drive stick.
