They’ve got nothing in the post (with or without Fab Melo’s extraordinary 7 points, 5 rebounds, and phenomenal athleticism and agility).

And they don’t have a go-to player when things get rough. Gonna kill them come March.

Sure, they have depth. But you need a cold-blooded assassin to put teams away in close affairs.

    Syracuse won 60-53.

And what do you meen by no go-to player. I hate when people say that. They have Joseph and Waiters averaging 13, Triche 9, and Scoop 8. The thing with these players is they all can go off on any given night. Joseph and Scoop bring senior leadership. Triche and Waiters shoot very well. Tonight both Joseph and Scoop picked up the team. Joseph had 17-6-2 and Scoop had 13-6-2 along with a clutch three.

As for no inside presence, I’ll admit Christmas (6’9 222) and Keita (6’10 213) were getting pushed around, but Christmas still impressed me with 4 points, 9 boards, 3 blocks, and 2 assists. Keita was a non factor with 1 rebound and 1 steal and no shot attempts. Considering Gates has 35 pounds on both these guys, I’ll take it. Christmas looks like a good prospect when given the minutes, he just needs to add more strength.
