Syracuse NBA prospects
In order I'd probably say their best prospects (outside of MCW) are: Jerami Grant and CJ Fair.
Grant has an intriguing combination of length, spring and pedigree. He has tweener size, but I think he has good potential as a long, defensive minded 3 kinda like an A-F.Aminu, open court and energy player. He needs to improve his ball skills to avoid the tweener label though.
I really like CJ Fair. He's basically a low maintenance player who you don't have to run any plays for but he'll still be productive because of his knack for putting himself in a position for easy scores. He's athletic, slithery with soft touch and a promising jump shot. His mid-range is nice, but he's shown glimpses of expanded range.
Christmas has all the physical tools but he just looks well, ...dumb to put it bluntly.
Coleman just looks like a kid who dominated at the HS level because of how big he was, not because of how good he was. He's a better college prospect than a pro prospect IMO. Could be a core guy for the program though and eventually get a look as a 2nd rounder.
what makes you think triche could play in the nba? i think southerland might make a team but probably wont stay around too long and fair could play a couple years maybe...but the 2 guys i see having good nba careers are mcw and christmas...rakeem xmas will be way better in the pros IMO...grant will prob get drafted too i guess it all depends on how he plays. but yea i dont see triche or coleman or anyone else playing in the nba

I am a big cuse fan so I am sure there is some bias here, but how are there not more players on this squad projected to get drafted??
CJ Fair - good NBA size and seems to be an instant role player for a contender (projected in the 2014 draft)
Jerami Grant - Great athlete with NBA bloodlines, might even grow another inch or two to give him PF size
Triche - poor poor poor mans Deron Williams but is an underrated athelete who is the leading scorer on top 5 team
Christmas - super athlete and big time shot blocker, I know he hasnt put it all together but still only a sophomore with a high ceiling
Coleman - probably too early to project him anywhere but definately has NBA potential
Southerland - aside from academic issues he still is 6'8" with a huge wingspan, deep shooting range and 40" vertical
Thoughts??
