As a GM you should look @ the body of Work of a Coach before you throw players away. My reference is MDanitoni & how he’s (NYK) just throwing/giving away palyers because they don’t fit his System. This is a gimmick offense that will get people excited for the season, but come playoff time, they lose because fast breaks are limited. NYK will not win a championship with this guy as a Coach. I know they(Suns & 7 sec or less Offense) pushed Lakers to game 7/ & were a RHorry HipCheck away from another Finals apperance, but coaches that adhere to offense and could care less about defense will never win. 7 seconds or less/fast break offense is exciting, but you have to able to exucute in the half court. This coach is similiar to Don Nelson the most wins/ but also no Rings.  27th in Def Rankings

i.e KRambis running Triangle Offense in Minny without Triangle Quality players to make the System succeed. Or the Resume to that would have me believe that he can & will deliver a Ring with this system. I hope the NYK find a better coach. (And I’m Glad the He turned the Bulls job down)

This one is different, if they dont get a qaulity shot off in 7 seconds they slow down there sets, go into a half court set, and iso with Anthony, Stoudemire, or Pick and Roll with Billups uptop. This team has yet to even have one good practice Carmelo Anthon said, and without any real Center this year why not just try to outscoe everyone. You have argueably the best scorer in the game and defnitely the best scoring frontcourt player in the game on the same team with tons of 3 point shooters, and Chauncey Billups. Not to mention the top offensive Coach in the NBA. If they play strong defense, despite lacking a true big bodied C, lots of oppurtunities will present themselves.

 i have to agree with you jjonz..dntoni has no dicipline on his players .they won’t be a contender without implementing defense…i don’t believe they have players to implement 7 second basketball..they need to fire him and sign someone thats gonna help them really contend with much more set plays..maybe marc jackson..i cant wait till the day he leaves new york
