Kurt rambis is the ex laker coach who brought the triangle offense to minnesota  there is no specific need on the wolves they just need a  talented player to put with beasly and love. So how about Jared? I know they just got rid of big al but he has never been a big time rebounder or defensive player tho sullinger isnt the best shot blocker/ or shot alter  he plays man to man better then alot of bigs  imo and elton brand on that end of the court where i can see his ceiling . Its alot of other players they can draft but good bigs with upside are  rare rember oden getting took before durant and why draft another player when you  have wayne ellington spreading the floor great plus  the t wolves having 3 point guards on roster already  and rubio overseas. sg are easier to come by then centers .   plus with jared love and beasly they can lead there division in  rebounding  stock piling wins in the future plus it a fit the triangle very well with jared beasly and love able to spread the floor , cut and post up makeing it easier for the  gaurds to set others up and get open shots.  This is the move the t wolves need to make.

no, Love and Sullinger would be go d awful on defense. I could see them going with Irving, Barnes, Kanter, or maybe Vesely.

No way, why invest in a below the rim rebounding power forward when you already have the best one in the league on your roster?  I think they need someone who can provide versitility at both forward positions they can bring off the bench ( Lamar Odom/ Toni Kukoc in some of Jackson’s most successful teams running the triangle).  I think Terrance Jones or Jan Vesley would be excellent picks for Minnesota.

Watched all, but one game this year.  They are surprising me with how much actual talent they have (Beasley, Love and to a lesser extent Wes Johnson and Martell Webster are all legit.  Darko, Tolliver and Brewer are reasonable rotation roleplayers and Ridnour and Telfair are okay backup PGs.)  They still aren’t playoff worthy, but should be a 25-30 win team with young talent.  Rambis is probably a really good coach, but he’s not a good head coach.  His offensive design doesn’t play toward the players strengths and the defensive design has lead to opponents raining uncontested 3’s and a terrible fouling rate.  The Wolves look better when the run a broken play or pick and pop than when they run the Rambis offense.  A lot of people seem to defend Rambis because of his Laker ties, but I’d ask them to watch any 10 Wolves plays following a time out and then consider what they’ve witnessed before giving him a pass.  He gets basketball, but he’s turning out to be terrible as a head coach.

The Wolves should draft the best player available when the draft comes.  Hopefully it won’t be Jared as he’s a bit redundent with KLove, but this team should not turn away talent.

I have no idea how you can compare Kevin Love, Jared Sullinger and Darko to Kevin Garnett, Big Baby Davis and Shaq.  I don’t see that potential Minnesota backcourt as anything close to what Boston has been playing with this season. Can you elaborate?

How is Love a good defender? Last night was another classic good team sleeping through three quarters before pantsing Minnesota with one quarter of effort. All of a sudden, the Jazz march to the hoops at will and your claimed "good man to man defender" is getting worked by Al Jefferson (who has been from day one the better player of the two).

" plus with jared love and beasly they can lead there division in rebounding stock piling wins in the future"

Will they be able to get a rebound in the fourth quarter when the other team is trying?

Minnesota simply does not have players capable of starting on winning teams. They need help everywhere. Jared Sullinger is going to be a good pro if he stays healthy and keeps the weight around where he is now, but that is basically one of five new starters that need to be brought in. Rubio could be number two, but he doesn’t want to go there.

The greatest crime committed was media people killing Rambis for benching Love for not playing defense. "He needs to play 30-40 minutes." Congratulations, he is playing 30-40 minutes, the team is as bad as ever, and they give up 41 fourth quarter points whenever a good team is forced to try. The caving is what is wrong. The belief that Beasley, Love, and Darko have somehow improved and that their acquisitons are good is what is wrong. Playing time doesn’t get a young player better when they aren’t learning how to improve their game. Throwing those three out there to play bad, dumb basketball benefits no one. People can’t get all caught up in numbers when the numbers that matters most read 6-24.

So Bothteamsplayedhard have you even watch a T-Wolves this year? They are getting better all the time. They are just a very young team learning how to win. Beasley is getting better all the time and Wes Johnson is starting to look like a good 5th opition. And what do you mean none of there players would play on a winning team? Beasley was playing on the Heat last season (aka a winning team) And Love is the best rebounder in the whole league and Darko is a pretty good shot blocker.

Did you see them last night?

And if those players are improving and worthy of the sentiment you have, then why are they 6-24?

Yes i watched them last night. And they were better then the Jazz for 95 percent of that game. It is the last part of games they need to work on. And that is going to take a while for them to mature. And yes there improving. When you start at awful and losing every game by 30 points then a few months later you are playing close with a very good team i call that improving. And if i had to take a bet on who would be a better team next year between the Pistons  and T-wolves and Kings and Sixers and cavs. I would take the T-wolves all day!

BothTeamsPlayedHard is a douche and everyone knows it. Anything you say, regardless of if it’s an intelligent basketball comment will be followed by a comment by BTPH disagreeing with it. He’s a hater. He hates the game of basketball and just posts on here to spite those of us who enjoy the game and are fans of NBA teams. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a happy holidays! (except for BothteamsPlayedHard. I hope you get a lump of coal or some melted pee-snow, you douchey douche)

That makes zero sense. Who would play center?  Jared is a good defender but love isn’t
