geothermalParticipantMy 2nd post in an hour, sorry but its just in my mind and its bugging me, is the bulls trading Boozer for Andrea Bargnani to give the starting job for Taj Gibson, when he enters the court he shows Hustle and Motor, a good Rebounder and Defender, they would utilize Andrea as there 6th or 7th man out of the bench, stretching the floor
there line-up would be
Rose/Hinrich/Nate
Rip Hamilton/ Marco/ Cook
Deng/Butler
Gibson/ Barg
Noah/ Mohammed

Moon RiverParticipantMohammed is done. Thibs has zero faith in Mo or Vlad Rad and they will not be Bulls next year, unless they expedite that and somehow unload them before the 21st.
I like Taj as a starter and him and Noah play well together, but not sure what the Bulls do with Boozer now. Last year it was a certainty he would be amnestied at some point, but now he is a double double machine and the Bulls would be in trouble without him. I think everything is in wait and see mode to see how Rose looks when he returns.

JoeWolf1I think they’d be better off getting a cheaper option to be their backup PF/C. Using their first round pick to get Jeff Withey, or G. Deng could work or using their 2nd to get Kenny Kadji or Oriakhi. With the Bulls having the rights to Nikola Mirotic, I see little draw to bringing over Bargs and his contract.

geothermalParticipanti based this trade when i read on some previous post that the Bulls are waiting for the Approval of the Raptors to do this trade, so i was thinking that the bulls really want Bargs

JoeWolf1That’s cool. Not saying you’re wrong, just that I don’t really like it, as a Bulls fan.

J_01ParticipantFrom what i’ve read Raptors have already declined the offer of boozer for bargnani because they aren’t willing to take on Boozer’s contract. Didn’t really like this deal for either team since Boozer doesn’t help with the Raptors rebuild (hinders cap space and takes minutes away from young bigs like JV and Amir) and even though Boozer has been disappointing for the bulls he has still been a productive big and I dont think Barg will help them much either. Happy this deal didn’t go through since I think this deal wouldn’t have really worked out for either team.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantBoozer is worse than bargs, per 100 possessions the bulls score 6.5 more points with him off the court, per 100 possessions on defense the bulls give up 5 more points with him on

Ghost01ParticipantI’m a Bulls fan I kind of tend to agree with LH on this one…Boozer did have a nice stretch there for awhile, but he still turns invisible far too often, and won’t sustain his success. The Bulls are always better with Noah and Taj out there, and Barg is an asset. I say do it.
