After scrutiny, I decided to do my own..

    Washington Wizards:
    Needs – SF, PF/C
    Picks – 3, 37, 54

Even though two years ago they drafted 2 SFs, it is still a weakness for them. Singleton and Vesely haven’t proven themselves yet. Also, depending on what position you think Nene plays, they need someone beside him because Okafor hasn’t been very good for a while. As long as the Wizards have Wall healthy for the year, they should be pretty good though. Wall makes others much better and Beal should take a step this year. If the Wizards take Noel or Porter, they get a very nice pick. If both guys are gone, they get into some trouble because needs become a reach and BPA is not anyone they need. In the second round they can still get some help with depth or size.

    Charlotte Bobcats (Hornets):
    Needs – SG, PF, C
    Picks – 4

The Bobcats could use an upgrade at evey position but PG. However, I think MKG is a team guy and probably best going forward. While they need a better C, Mullens had a great year for them last year. You can’t compete for a championship with him, unless he gets alot better, but honestly, the Bobcats aren’t looking for a ring any time soon. The best they could hope for would be to see McLemore fall to them at 4. He would be a perfect SG to put between Kemba and MKG. If that doesnt work, options would be Noel if he slips, reach for Oladipo, or trade down for someone like Caldwell-Pope or Zeller. I think that of they can’t get McLemore, they should move down. Zeller is a great fit here because he fills 2 needs at PF and C. And, they could possibly get a decent SG in the trade. The Bobcats aren’t a complete train wreck but they need help. They need to be sure to select the right guy. Someone who fits with Kemba and MKG on a competitive level. Those 2 guys fight to win and they need more people around them like that.

    Atlanta Hawks:
    Needs – SG, SF, C
    Picks – 17, 18, 47, 50

This will be the year that the Hawks rid themselves of Josh Smith and move forward with Horford and Teague. Hopefully, for the Hawks, they can sign and trade Smith to get some help. Regardless, they will start heading a new direction. I see Horford as a PF and with Smith gone, they need to look for a C. It would be nice to see them get a veteran but if not, there are plenty of Cs that could be available at 17 and 18. Guys like Steven Adams and Rudy Golbert would be more of project guys where Jeff Withey and Mason Plumlee would be ready to contribute right away but don’t have the ceilings of the other 2. Also, while Korver was huge for them at the SF spot, he is best served as a backup. But, the SG spot is where they couldn’t find a legit starter. There isn’t really much help in this draft. Snell and Hardaway may be options and if Caldwell-Pope has a big drop, he would fit right away. Hopefully, Smith will help them with a trade so they don’t have to depend on rookies to start.

    Orlando Magic:
    Needs – PG youth
    Picks – 2, 51

I love what the Magic have done since the Dwight trade! They had better stick to what they are doing not move some of their better pieces. Harris, Harkless, and Vucivic looked fantastic at the end of the year and Aflallo is a nice SG going forward. Nelson is a very good PG but not for this team. They are in the midst of a youth movement and he is on his decline. Idk if they can trade him for much but there are a bunch of teams he can help. Their best bet would either to be move Aflallo and draft McLemore or move Nelson and draft Burke. I don’t think they need to take a chance on Noel. Burke may be a reach at 2 so they could trade down with someone and acquire more assets but still get the guy they want.. I just hope they don’t screw up by trying to do this rebuild over night..

    Miami Heat:
    Needs – C
    Picks – N/A

Miami has needed a C for a long time now but with Anderson, it isn’t as glaring a weakness as it used to be. Honestly, I think they need another guard that can put pressure on defenses. Cole does a decent job but Chalmers is mostly just a shooter. Allen is nice but aging. Wade is legit but his injury issues and fading knees are a concer for the future. I can’t see them making a big splash unless the Pacers eliminate them and I doubt that happens.

Wow look at the Magic’s salaries.

Afllalo is owed over 7.5mil until 2016
Harrington is owed 7mil for the next two years.
Turk is owed 12 mil next year
Glen Davis owed 13 mil over next two years
Jameer owed over 16 mil over next two years

Of these contracts which one do you blame on Dwight?

Hedo and Harrington should be waived sometime after the Draft if they can’t be traded to another team (they won’t). If that happens, then only half of their salaries are on the books.

Personally, I blame Dwight for Turk and Davis… LoL.. May not be fair but I think he pushed management to resign Turk in hopes of looking like they used to.. And, Dwight is on record saying that he wanted Davis.. He thought the Magic should look more like a traditional team with a post PF with some midrange game as opposed to a team with stretch 4s everywhere..
