valentineMy favorite rookie Terrence Williams because he is just perfect the Nets because he can play Point Forward, Shooting Guard, and Small Forward. He played excellent basketball in Louisville. He comes off the bench which is fine because he plays great minutes and is dangerous on offense and defense and an amazing rebounder for his size. He is very strong and can be average great numbers too. I love his game type. Amazing size 6’6″ not bad.
Your thoughts or you would like to add something.

europebasketballHe is still young and can improve over the summer he was training with Gary Payton in Las Vegas so just to improve and watch for this kid. I’m telling you he can help this team positively and is dangerous you can say what you want to say.

europebasketballOK, i get it can improve his shooting but the thing is
Is he affective to the team positively? that’s what i am trying to get out of it.0 - Posted on: Sat, 10/31/2009 - 10:44am #225414
QHaynes20Yea, as a 6th man right now? Yea. I agree he can be a trip-doub player every night.
I think if he wants to start…gotta improve the jumper

europebasketballThe Nets play a 9 man rotation the highest now with Hayes out they go with 10 man rotation with extra players to prove themselves because they can’t play with 8 players because you got to look stamina wise, too. So Williams will get extra minutes added on but the thing is can he prove to the Nets that he is capable of playing and maybe starting too.

europebasketballHe’s very affective and i understand about the jumper that will come because remember he can also play the point guard position too.

esperanzafleet69Participanti doubt hes ever gonna be a triple double threat every night, sure he will probably get a few but a threat every night is like averaging at least 10 7 and 7… and hes never gonna average many assists in the nba…

QHaynes20Like a 14-6-5 guy. He will get alot of assist if he plays opposite of Devin Harris

quincey hodgeshe shoul dbe a pretty good player…ok i must address this because it needs to be addressed……someone said he loooked good because he was playing against ryan gomes…first off ryan gomes last i checked is a nba player..a pretty good one at that..he isnt a super star but hes a solid player and play better defense then most of the superstars out there..if williams would have played like that against durant people would have been like man that was great or nice or good. ignorin gthe fact that durant isnt one of the better defenders in the nba but because hes a uper star some people asume hes a superstar defender also…alot of real good defenders are guys that arent even stars..one reason is because they feel they have too work harder to be able to stay on the floor or to get another contract..another reason is because they dont have to spend alot of energy on offense…someone made a point about brook lopez playing well against ryan hollis saying hollis is horrible and lopez scoring so much against him isnt a big deal but the thing is ryan is a damn good defender but hes not a star or someone who gonna core alot of points..other then scoring alot against steve nash ya’ll shouldnt say ” oh he scored or played well against that guy” because they still did it against a nba starter and because teams dont let you just check a guy one on one the whole give..theres alot of help defenses and switches off of picks so lets give the players there due when they play well esspecially rookies since players will work a lil harder to make sure a rookie doesnt make them look bad

Bryant24Participantwhy dos everybody say he cant shoot the terrence williams i seen can shoot i think he can be a good player he can become a lockdown defender he is very athletic he can pass very good not a great scorer but he can become a good one

JNixonParticipantHe’s got a shaky jumper, but I agree it is underrated. He shot 38% from 3-point land last year and is a good mid-range player off the dribble. He has the upside to be an Andre Iguodala type player, probably a poor man’s version though. I like him alot, because he plays like Iguodala and I think he’ll be a player in this draft that will be mentioned as a very good player and possible impact role player on a contender.
Oh and don’t act like Ryan Gomes is some guy that can’t defend. He’s a big body who’s pretty good in the NBA and has exceeded expectations. That wasn’t a small task by playing good against Gomes.
