    1st qtr just ended. Julius Randle has really gotten off to a bad start. He’s forcing everything on the break. He’s going to need to learn how to get it to a guard after a rebound and/or learning a euro-step/swing-thru so he doesn’t get called for charges.

    Matt Jones is known for his shooting, but he’s been doing some stuff off the dribble, including hitting some nice floaters.

     He’s playing like he doesn’t care for some reason. He’s not attacking the glass nor do imaging on defense like he has all summer. He’s just loafing until he gets the ball. Agreed he needs to pass the ball to a guard but that’s nothing to worry about because bigs tend to do that all the time in H.S. how many times do you see colleges coach’s let bigs do that. Watch Ant Davis in H.S and you see coast to coast and threes being launched. Once he got to college you might see that once in a game

    Joel Barry had a very good 1st half. He’s not the quickest and he’s a little on the small side, but he’s doing a good job controlling the pace and finding his teammates. His jumper looks good too. I envision him having a tough time finishing at the rim at the next level though.

    KeJuan Johnson looks intriguing. He’s ranked as the #1 player in the Class of 2015 by some, and he’s been transitioing from a post player into a perimeter player.

    For whatever reason Boo Williams are taking on the Harrison twins instead which is on my channel guide at 9pm.  Not sure why you guys can see it but I can’t in North Carolina.

    I don’t think Johnson is ranked first by any of the respectable scouting sites. They all have Karl Townes. I think you have him mind up because he’s not even ranked top 20 in his class by any of the big sites (Rivals,scout,espn)

     

     

    Hes not very skilled but he works hard

      Oh yeah I forgot about Karl Towns, but Johnson was ranked top 5 by many recruiting services as a soon-to-be Fr, even #1 by some. For example, Sportspresstv.com had him ranked #3 over Karl Towns, but those rankings haevn’t been updated in a yr.

      He’ll definitely need to wrok on his perimeter skills though because I’m not sure he’ll grow much more.
