WizardofOzParticipantWizards
Javale McGee should not be traded.
Nick Young needs to play well this season or he’s gone.
Susan O’Malley was our de facto GM for a couple years in the late 90s.
Michael Jordan never felt comfortable in Washington.
As much as we hate to admit it Dwyane Wade owns Gilbert Arenas.
Tough Juice is one of the best NBA nicknames of the past decade.
Eddie Jordan can’t coach defense.
DeShawn Stevenson has a pretty poor jump shot for a shooting guard with 10 years of experience.
Kwame Brown has hands of stone.
Jarvis Hayes can’t shoot and we have no idea how he got a reputation as a sharp shooter.
Flip Saunders is a solid coach with a great basketball mind, but after 82 games we still can’t figure out what the heck his “system” is.
The team should improve the medical staff.
Wall needs to work on his jumper
The Wizards have a promising 5+ year outlook
Arenas needs to play better defense
We are in the leagueβs toughest division

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantThe Wizards were dismantled and reassembled in the past year… how could’ve Flip installed a system with the turn over? You are lucky to have him… you could do much worse as far as coaches go.

torontoraptors10ParticipantWe all hope DeRozan is the future for the Raptors
DeRozan, Weems and Johnson need to stay together so team chemistry is ruined
Jay Triano needs to be fired
We don’t need that many Europeans on our team
Calderon needs to be traded
Rob Babcock’s VC trade put us in quite the pickle
VC put Toronto on the map
Bosh is not good as everyone says he is
We’re happy (well I’m happy) that Bosh is gone so we can get a legitimate player in the draft and start fresh.

White ChocolateParticipant“The Wizards have a promising 5+ year outlook.”
Yes, they actually mostly because they have Javale McGee a MIP canidate, Andray Blatche who is a pretty good player, and they just drafted Dwayne Wade 2.0.

Rod Strickland was our last pure pg before Wall
Popeye Jones was ugly
Michael Ruffin was ugly
Michael Ruffin was dumb and ugly
Etan Thomas was a beast on the court but a gentle poet off it
Washington vs Cleveland was our modern day rivalry even thou we never won
I lol’ed when Cleveland sign Larry Hughes and he sucked
I lol’ed when Jamison got traded to Cleveland only for Lebron to leave
God sent us a miracle in the form of Kwame Brown for Caron Butler

White ChocolateParticipantUtah Jazz
Jerry Sloan deserves to win a coach of the year award
We are lucky that we traded up to #3 in the 05 draft to get the best point guard in the league
We need to get the #2 or #3 seed so that we don’t have to play the Lakers until the WCF
Al Jefferson is a much better option then Carlos Boozer
We are happy that Raja Bell is back in town
Gordon Hayward giving the playing time has a chance to be a good player
Andrei Kirilenko was an all-star until he got paid big money
Mehmet Okur needs to improve his defense
If Okur doesn’t improve his defense he needs to be traded
Okur needs to box out in the paint instead of the three point line
D-Will is not going to demand a trade
We hope that D-Will and Al Jefferson can become a similar version of Stockton to Malone
The Jazz need to start Big Al at center and Millsap at power forward
The 05 draft was one of our best drafts ever considering it got us D-Will and C.J. Miles
We have a very bright future with D-Will, Big Al, Millsap, Hayward, and Miles

midwestbbscoutParticipantif you grew up in the 90’s as I did you are the most spoiled sports fan in America
we can feel comfortable that Derrick Rose is a great centerpiece to build around
Joakim Noah = Ben Wallace cir. 2003
Trading the 17th pick this year to keep cap space for free agency was a mistake
getting a shooter like Kyle Korver is the perfect complement to Derrick Rose’s game
DERRICK ROSE HAS BOUNCE
Tom Thibadeau was a great hire but it woulda been even better if they hired him 2 years ago
Having outstanding hair does not make a good coach
We are one scorer away from becoming a contender in the east
the Bulls are unstoppable in NBA Live 96 for Sega
Derrick Rose would give U. Bolt a run for his money in the 100
Everyone who is up on John Salmons’ nuts when he was on the Bucks obviously didn’t watch him play for the Bulls in the first half
Rajon Rondo wants no part of Kirk Hinrich
Watching Luol Deng play is like suckin a titty through a sweater

Charlie SheenParticipantI’m not a Knick fan but
Start over with Randolph, Gallinari and Chandler
Draft Fab Melo
Instead of trying to get Rubio get Flynn from Minnesota
Melo, Randolph, Gallinari, Chandler and Flynn all under 23 New York would be fine like that.

whocedthatParticipantMonta should remain as the shooting guard
Curry will become our franchise player
As much as we hate to admit, we needed Stephen Jackson last season
Biedrins needs to stop yapping
It still feels as if J-Rich will someday comeback to play for Golden State
We need to get over the We Believe Era.
We got rid of Baron at the right time
Were cursed with injuries
David Lee was a great trade
We will miss Randolph and his so called “Hall of Fame” potential
We will always feel Morrow is a Warrior
Larry Riley has had a great off-season
Jeremy Lin is asian

JNixonParticipantJrue Holiday has a chance to be a Chauncey Billups type player, instead of Delonte West 2.0
Andre Iguodala needs to get back to his old self and defend better than he did last year
Elton Brand should keep it real and say “I don’t deserve this contract” and find a way to get out of it so we can have flexibility.
Marreese Speights has a bunch of talent, but he’s like a PF version of Nick Young. Aka, not very smart but supremely talented
Samuel Dalembert is gone π
Spencer Hawes has replaced him π
Andres Nocioni is tired of America and wants to ride out
Evan Turner will prove everyone wrong who’s doubting him and be a Rookie of the Year frontrunner.
Lou Williams invites what seems like 200 people or so everytime the 76ers play in Atlanta.
Jodie Meeks can score the ball

Toronto16ParticipantRaptors:
Fire Bryan Colangelo
Trade Jose Calderon
Build around DeMar DeRozan
Re-sign Sonny Weems
Get more athletic guys on the squad
Do everything in their power to get Kyle Irving for next season, even if it means tanking
If Andrea Bargnani doesn’t prove himself this season, ship him out
Ditto for Jay Triano
WIN!!!

SwatLakeCityParticipant“The wizards are in the toughest division.” Very true, but I think the Northwest comes awfully close to being better. You have a young team that is awfully good in OKC, just like Miami, and then you have the always good Utah Jazz, just like Orlando, and then you have Portland who insists they have gotten past the bad era, and does not deserve the name “jailblazers” like Atlanta, and then you have Denver who doesn’t really compare to anybody, but still deserves some props, so I guess you could say they compare to Charlotte. They are very similar divisions and I’m not quite sure which one is better.
Cousinsfan, I am still not convinced that Hayward can develop into a good player even with the playing time. Right now, to me, he is no better than Kyle Korver. He hasn’t even played a game with the Jazz yet and this is his first season and you are already saying he has a lot of potential? Not every lottery pick is a sure fire hell of a player. Kevin O’Conner said it best after the first 5 picks this draft looked very similar to the 2000 draft, just not very much to choose from. I still would have gone with Luke Babbitt or Paul George instead of Hayward. And if Jerry Sloan does not start Big AL at center and Millsap at PF and AK at SF at the start of the season, I will consider wanting him to be fired.0 - Posted on: Tue, 09/07/2010 - 5:51am #396195

MkadozaParticipantThe thing that all Knicks fans can agree on…
Some how, some way, Randolph and/or Amare will get injured/disappoint.
Gallinari will have both a 0 point game and a 35+ point game.
Felton will be the player with most pressure on him by the media by midseason. I see him like Castillo/Vasquez for the Mets/Yankees.
Melo won’t come here….*Chokes up, regains composure*
Chandler will take way too many 22 footers. Learn from Josh Smith!!
Maybe next year..?
