jerb2011ParticipantIn many mock drafts that I have read, they have the Thunder taking either Tyler Honeycutt, Tobias Harris, and Chris Singleton. The Thunder need a backup SF for KD. If they are all available, who would be the best fit for OKC and what would be good player comparisons for the 3?

providencefriars1ParticipantI would compare Singleton to a poor mans Gerald Wallace. I havent seen to much of Honeycutt or Tobias Harris, but I’ll say Honeycutt is like Tayshaun Prince and Harris is a little like Sam Young or a poor mans Jeff Green except he plays in the post more than Young. I think the best fit is Tobias Harris for OKC because he can play both forward positions and can go inside or out.

omphalosParticipantI’m not sure Harris will be available for the Thunder pick, I’ll go with Singleton if he’s available. Defensive players are essential for contending teams.

BKKnicksfanParticipantI remember you getting mad because I didn’t give OKC a scoring power forward.
They can use a backup wing, but I think the best option is Tobias Harris. I think this past season Harris didn’t get to show his true skills. Harris is a solid rebounder, and can dabble around at the 4. He got lazy and shot alot of 3’s this season, but I think he can be a solid OKC pick.
Comparisons
- Tyler Honeycutt- Josh Childress
- Chris Singleton- Trevor Ariza/ Sam Young
- Tobias Harris- Larry Johnson (NYK verison)

jerb2011ParticipantYea lol sorry about that. I didn’t know what I was talking about at the time because I wasn’t too sure Serge would develop a low post game as fast as he is.

BKKnicksfanParticipantIt’s cool lol, I’m surprised Ibaka developed that fast as well.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIMO, there is no wrong answer. One of the greatest things about the Thunder is that any player can play with this team. After this this recent trade, the GM doenst get enought credit for BTW, they can absorb any player in the NBA and fit great with this team. Durant is good enough to play with any other player in the world. Ibaka can play the 4 and 5 very effectivly. Westbrook can play the 1 and the 2, Harden can play the 1, 2, and 3. Perk will always to the dirty work.
Any of those 3 guys woud fit great along with any other player in the entire draft..
Kudos to OKC..

TeamShowtimeLakersParticipanti think all 3 would be solid picks for the thunder but i would say that chris singleton might be the best fit because he brings a defense-first mentality and that is what the thunder need from players on the perimeter…also singleton is versatile where he can play 2-3 positions if needed to.
