     Just got news that Tom Gola passed away. One of the all time NCAA greats he still holds the all time NCAA record for total rebounds at 2201. He averaged 19 per game.  At 6’6 he could play any position and was very versatile. He could shoot, dribble, rebound, and defend. Pretty rare for some one in that era. He was national player of the year in 1955 and won a championship in college for La Salle in 1954 and one in the NBA for the Philadelphia Warriors in 1956. May he rest in peace.
