top 10 players in the nba in 5 years will be...
But..
1. Lebron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Brandon Roy
4. Derrick Rose
5. Chris Paul
6. Rajon Rondo
7. Russell Westbrook
8. Dwight Howard
9. Chris Bosh
10. Dwyane Wade
I like Rajon Rondo a lot but I dont think he will a top 10 basketball player in 5 years. Although he will be very good. I also dont think blake griffin will be that great in 5 years especially if he is playing for the clippers. I see it more like this...
1. Lebron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Brandon Roy
4. Derrick Rose
5. Chris Paul
6. Dwight Howard
7. Dwyane Wade
8. Chris Bosh
9. Carmelo Anthony
10. Deron Williams
Mind u things could change in 5 years so fast.. u never know there might be some incredible players that we havent heard of or seen yet.
blake griffin will not be a top 10 NBA player in 5 years. and nobody thinks kobe will still be in the top 10? i mean, he'll be old lol, but still.
i think john wall will be on that list.
1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Deron Williams
4. Chris Paul
5. Dwayne Wade
6. Kobe Bryant
7. Dwight Howard
8. Blake Griffen
9. Brandon Roy
10. Derrick Rose
Carmelo Anthony and John Wall got snubbed.
1. Lebron James
2. Derrick Rose
3. Dwayne Wade
4. Carmelo Anthony
5. Dwight Howard
6. Deron Williams
7. Brandon Roy
8. Chris Paul
9. Kevin Durant
10. Rudy Fernandez
That's right Rudy Fernandez. I know he plays for the same team as Roy, but he'll be that good.
1. Lebron
2. Dwight
3. Chris Paul
4. Wade
5. Melo
6. Brandon Roy
7. Rose
8. D-Will
9. Durant
10. John Wall - He is the coming of Rose
No on put Melo on their list, when he is the best pure scorer in this league. He scores in every possible way that their is with little effort.
1. Lebron-King James.
2. Dwight Howard-Will get better post moves, and is starting to show killer instinct, superman 2 will be unstoppable, already defensive player of the year
3.Carmelo Anthony-the reason he gets the edge over KD is he is finally putting the total game together besides scoring and he will be better defensively and him being on a team with chauncey and reaching the conference finals will give him that extra leadership and confidence
4. Kevin Durant-better scorer than Carmelo when it's done, but that's about it, i don't think he will ever be a defensive player or passer
5. Chris Paul-will be one of the top 5 point guards ever
6. Derrick Rose- will over take Chris Paul sooner or later, should be a triple double threat one day, will get better defensively
7. Brandon Roy- same as OJ Mayo, also one of the best team players in the NBA
8. OJ Mayo- work ethic, skill and attitude will get him here
9. Chris Bosh- Is great but he is still learning the nuances of the game but he is also still getting better in everything.
10. Kobe Bryant-the way Kobe plays, and his work ethic he can still be the same player at 35
You can't predict this because of guys in college and high school. In 5 years, there could be an 8th grader who takes the nation by storm. Ya never know.
i forgot D-WADE on my list he should be 10
1. Lebron- Enough said
2. D. Howard- Unstoppable in post and still young
3. Wade- Healthy and back for more
4. Rose- Cornerstone of franchise and ROY
5. Melo- Best overall scorer and good D against Kobe
6. Paul- Should win MVP once considering top 5 past 2 years
7. Roy- Already an all-star and only to get better great team player
8. Durant- Already top 10 scorer needs to bulk up and play better D
9. Wall- Next Rose
10. Richmond- Should be good, becoming a senior in high school- summing up jaredpaul89
Honorable Mentions:
D. Williams- Up near Paul but not quite as good
Bosh- Right team and could be a champion
Mayo- Good scorer and plays solid D
Griffin- Not sure how he pans out against bigger PF
Seriously just like Duncan is the best player of the post Jordan era yet people hype up point guards and wing players here is a realistic not just most entertaining list.
1)Dwight Howard
2)Chris Paul
3)Lebron James
4)Chris Bosh
5)Dwayne Wade
6)Lamarcus Aldrige
7)Greg Monroe
8)Blake Griffin
9)Kevin Durant
10)Deron Williams
how can people say that melo is the best scorer? durant averaged more points this year and shot a better percentage than melo across the board (fg 3fg ft) all while being 5 years younger! if durant even comes close to his potential in 5 years he will blow melo out of the water hands down.
nevermind d-wade is still of, he will be a shell of him former self at 32
some lists on this are appalingly bad. fernandez, lamarcus aldrige, Rudy Gay, Greg Monroe!, deron williams 3, kd 9.
1. Lebron James- Easy pick.
2. Dwight Howard- If he develops any offensive game will be impossible to play against.
3. Kevin Durant- Difficult to put this high because he is still so young, and plays on a bad team. but a 20 year old scoring this much has too much potential.
4. Chris Paul- Rose, Wall, Rondo, nobody rivals his ability to make to his teammates better. his hornets team was amongst the worst league.
5. Carmelo Anthony- will continue to develop his very good scoring ability and will still be in his prime. if he improves like he did this year, and approaches the game seriously, he will have the ability to lead his team to a championship ( if he doesn't already)
6.Brandon Roy- Consistent young scoring threat. intelligent player who can be good for a while.
7. Derrick Rose- will be a lockdown defensive guy at worst. projection depends on himing developing a good jumper and a better passer (hes not there yet)
8. Kobe Bryant- game doesn't rely on athleticism
9. Chris Bosh- Still young and consitent scorer- well be a 23 and 11 guy in 5 years.
10. Deron Williams- Another nice young point guard, no flaws in his game. tempted to put griffin here.
Wade will be nearly 33 in five years with his style of playing there is a good chance he isn't the league and his athleticism that he relies will decrease greatly.
the guy who didnt have melo on there should be shot...and joh wall?..really?..hes not even top 5 from rose hs class of players..90 percent of ya'll have only seen him in allstar games so stop naming wall because of the allstar games and what you read from sportswriters..as far as bynum...it depends if he stops getting hurt..if he can stop that then its possible since he gets better every year and there arent many centers in the nba and none of note in the foreseeable future...and clippers...although i really like blake youre arguement with the stats dont cut it because of al jefferson putting up those same numbers now and hes only getting better. also for some reason i just dont see chris bosh getting much better i think he will pretty much be the player he is today
dwade and williams shoul dbe on anylist...clippers list is pretty accurate not in order though especially with blake over carmelo. and roy over wade.but im guessing it either isnt in order or another clipper bias...id replace d will with bosh
